My boyfriend and I purchased a box of 6 macarons from Barbara in Waterside last fall. I've been meaning to write a review ever since, because they are the BEST macarons I've ever had. I'm not usually a big macaron fan as I often find them too sweet and more tasting of sugar than anything else, but that was not the case here. Barbara's macarons were full of their advertised flavor (and there were some creative ones too!), not too sweet, had wonderful texture and were overall just delicious. Again, these were the best macarons I've ever had. We'll be looking for their stall at Waterside again and/or try to stop by when we're in St. Pete. Great job Barbara!

🌙Aesthetically Beautiful & Deeply Delicious🌙
I had the pleasure of trying four Moonlit Macarons at St. Pete Comic Con. The macaron artist, Barbara Baker, is very personable, friendly, and passionate about her work, and the results speak for themselves. Each macarons design is visually Instagrammable (airbrushed designs, glitter, etc.) and captures the nuance of its flavor.
The flavor selection includes traditional options like Belgian Chocolate and Pistachio, as well as unique original flavors like Toffee Cashew and (my favorite) Butterbeer (inspired by Harry Potter). Flakey on the outside, creamy on the inside, and highly recommended!
I randomly stumbled across Moonlit Macarons and what a wonderful surprise. It’s so hard to find custom macarons made from scratch here. The owner Barbara is very friendly and accommodating and the macarons are pure heaven. I got a ton of flavors but check out these Belgian Chocolate and Ferrero Roche macarons that I picked up today - so good!
Best macaroons, I've ever had! Very artistic too. The pistachio Grinch and chocolate hazel nut where out of this world!Great personality and very professional
10 out of 10.

Absolutely delicious! We made a special trip just to see Barbara at the Coquina beach market. She is incredibly nice and kept some dairy free macarons back just for us. Looked as AMAZING as they tasted!!
A teenage girl is at All Children’s Hospital a day after her surgery. All she wants to eat is a macaron. Her mother(my friend) doesn’t want to leave her. It became my mission to fulfill her request ASAP. After several unsuccessful calls to nearby bakeries, I found Barbara. Having Baker for a last name seemed like a good omen. It was! Delicious, hand crafted macarons, packaged beautifully, within an hour. And to add to the happy ending, Barbara lives within blocks of me and the hospital is very close. A truly serendipitous experience. Thank you, Barbara.
Bishops Salon went to the Fairgrounds and Barbara was selling the cutest macarons! We all bought some and we’re going to tell everyone about this place for events or just anything fun!
