Love this place. Enjoy spending the afternoon eating and relaxing. The food is lovely and it feels like a vacation every time we go—my favorite restaurant on the Coast—Every dish I have tried is delicious and fresh. There is a lovely assortment of wine. The beach is beautiful and the breeze from the water makes this lovely restaurant a blissful escape. It’s a place that feels like home and a vacation all at the same time. Come and relax and enjoy this gem along the Kenyan coast.
Amazing place to eat with a wonderful view. Very fresh seafood and great staff. Big chance to see turtles swimming also. I almost can’t get better

Excellent food, service, and ambiance out of all touristic attractions Then, dezertic beach and ruins of the forgotten city, what else do you need? Meal type Lunch Price per person KES 4,000–4,500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Octopus Salad
A treasure to find this wonderfull restaurant the food was excellent and the view of the Indian Ocean of course the King Prawns were fresh and sublime, starters were huge and the catch if the day was perfectly cooked, the service was also above and beyond , I would recommend you search it out even if there is a long bumpy road. The prices were exceptionally fair Tuto bene! Grazia.

For me, this is the best restaurant i know of. I've been working with food, in several continents, for 40 years. And Monsoon have been my favourite since the first bite. It's not fancy. It's not fine dining. It's not snobby in any way. It's simply great food, without fancy techniques and presentations. Great ingredients, prepared to the ultimate perfection. The opposite of cheap ingredients with glamorous presentation, as you get in Kempinsky and others. The atmosphere is very friendly and totally relaxed. With a great scenery and view of the beach and ocean. A bumpy road is immediately forgotten when you get there. And some minutes walk trough the Jumba ruins is a nice experience on top of it all. I highly recommend Monsoon. Either it's for a family dinner, a romantic lunch date, or if you're simply just a lover of great food.

Fantastic! We ventured here after hearing glowing reviews from some local friends. It’s a lovely little spot with a gorgeous view and fabulous food. The calamari was some of the best I’ve had in awhile. Be sure to allot time to explore the ruins while you’re there.
