Mediocre medium size pizza (2 out of 5) that comes with an extravagant price - 27 dollars!!! The bread sticks were not cooked - we felt like we ate dough. All together, this mediocre dinner cost us, with the tip, 50 dollars. What a waste of dollars! The service was good. No complaints. The food, though was a disaster. We will NEVER step into this place again! The next day we went to The Olive Garden and got pasta with bread sticks and salad, and for desert tiramisu - all excellent for 28 dollars!!! What a difference an food quality and price!!! Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Geez. Can someone explain to me the alarming number of 4-5 star reviews for this restaurant? My wife and I ordered Monical’s for the first time this evening and immediately wished we hadn’t. The food is flavorless and very below average. We ordered the tortellini pasta (rubber noodles and bland sauce), garlic breadsticks (tasted no garlic or butter, just bland dough), buffalo wings (soggy and mushy, poor quality wings and buffalo sauce), and a large pepperoni thin crust pizza (flavorless and tough, not crispy crust). All this for $50 (before $4 delivery fee and $10 tip…so, $64 in total). Delivery driver was nice, but the food was awful. The cost certainly does not match the quality. First impression? No desire to ever order from Monical’s again, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. There are better places to spend your money. Terrible service and terrible food for both my husband and I. I got the salad with grilled chicken. The ranch tasted sour, but I didn't get sick. Must be the recipe. Bread sticks had no flavor. I've never seen chicken like that. My husband got lasagna. Thank God he ordered a side of meatballs. No meat and bland. Too bad. Cute place but very disappointed by the food traveling through. This was probably one of our worst visits. Normally Monicals is great. The food was good but today the service was below average. The waitress was very nice but the service lacked in areas. The plates & bowls all came out wet. We got a family pleaser & upgraded our salad to a chefs salad. The meat wasn't even cut up. It had been sliced but still for the most part whole. Visited with my kids and sister on a quiet Sunday afternoon. You can't beat Monical's pizza--we had a family pleaser with Deluxe and black olives added. The pizza was perfectly cooked. The salad is always simple but oddly satisfying, and of course the breadsticks were great. We also had an order of the mozzarella sticks and they were good. The only possible complaint was that the Pepsi tasted like it wasn't mixed quite right--you how you can taste the carbonated water but not the syrup properly? It wasn't terrible though, and that was a very minor issue. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I didn't realize how much their menu has expanded, now including lots of sandwiches as well as the pastas that have been available for a while. I've ordered Monical's a lot in recent times, but hadn't been physically there in a while and it was nice--the booths are big and comfortable with plenty of room between the seats and tables. We walked in with a large party, half kids, at dinnertime on a weekend and were immediately accommodated. Everything was tasty, especially the pepperollies. We've missed them since we moved away. Service was very nice, food was delicious. We got a pan pizza and it was seasoned amazingly well. They Definitely use real ingredients. Only problem I had was that the bathrooms weren’t that clean. Other than that, it was amazing. Would recommend
