Stopped in for a drink after a great dinner at Jake's and was served the most foul smelling wine I've ever encountered. When I asked the bartender for another glass because of the moldy smell, he looked at me like I was crazy. I was NOT crazy. How can a busy place serve something like this? Best views in downtown del mar. The food is actually pretty good. Most people i know go for a drink and enjoy a nice day outside but i have had the food a few times and never been disappointed. The drinks and view are however the main reason i go as well. Parking is tricky but you can easily park a couple blocks away if you dont mind a 3-4 minute walk.
