We haven't been here in awhile but it's a good diner-style restaurant. Huge portions, always shareable, and a favorite with locals. It's usually very busy and today is no exception. They have a mish-mash of coffee cups. Kurt got "King of Whatever's Left" and I got one with the words upside down "Donnie Lewis; Momma Jane's #1 Customer". It's fun to look at the different mugs around the room! And hand written checks! Good home cookin'! This place is a great pit stop for wayward travelers. It's comforting, the mugs are at your table and ready for coffee holding as soon as you sit down, and the pancakes are SIZEABLE. My husband and I stopped here before hitting the road and we decided (after the meal) that it would be our only meal that day. Haha! We left very satisfied. My ONLY critique is the breakfast ham was waaaaaay too salty for my and my husband's taste. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We were visiting the Dalles and based on the reviews we decided to eat here for breakfast. The Omelets where scrumptious they were big and well stuffed the potatoes where great not greasy in addition to the reasonable pricing the service was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is packed with random fun motorcycle memorabilia and was a fun, biker themed restaurant. We decided to come back for lunch based on our experience at breakfast and they hit the home run again. If you are in the area and need munchies this place is the go to spot. My dad loved his big salad that was fully loaded with yumminess. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

BEST BREAKFAST IVE HAD THIS ENTIRE ROAD TRIP! Literally if you pass this and don’t go - shame on you. I got such a basic breakfast but I can’t even tell you how amazing it was. Also - I don’t like sweets much but they make a homemade coconut syrup (so good) I regret not getting pancakes but I had to try the homemade syrup on a spoon just because and I ended up buying a jar. It was such a simple breakfast but it was so tasty and felt so great on the stomach. 10 out of ten for this place. The bacon was so fresh and delicious, and the home fries I had them add peppers and onions and OMG! YUM. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We have never eaten here before, but we’ve heard good things about this place. When we got here, the parking lot was full and there were only a couple of tables available. We knew that was a good sign, and the food and the service were just as good.

The best diner breakfast I've ever had. Perfectly crispy hash browns, great bacon, sausage patty was excellent and eggs were cooked as requested. Pancakes are very large and fluffy. Service was top notch and friendly. I'd come back to The Dalles just to eat here again. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Mama Jane's was one of the highlights of our vacation. The atmosphere in this little restaurant was comfortable and quiet, filled with a large eclectic collection of biker items and signs which were fun to look at. The restaurant was very clean and our waitress was absolutely wonderful. The pancakes I got, apple walnut with coconut syrup, were incredible. Very fresh and good quality! I'd definitely go back. I came here because it had lemon pancakes. Had to try one. But when I got here I fell in love with it. Cute and adorably decorated. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. The food was solid. I had the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was okay but the ham was great. Real sliced ham. Loved it. The pancakes are massive and I maybe ate 1/4 of it . I will be going back for more lemon pancakes. I loved the flavor options. My husband got the blueberry stuffed French toast. Also great. Planning on making this a stop whenever we come through. Outstanding service as every employee that was near our table asked if we needed anything, and followed up with whatever our request was. The menu had a vast selection from which to choose from. Everybody at our table commented about the quality and presentation of their selections. A very affordable price range coupled with a fantastic portions served. I must say, very impressive!!! I will either make it a destination stop on the Harley, or a breakfast lunch stop in route. The Decor is full on Vtwin bikes or old classic cars. I will most definitely dine at Momma Jane's again.
