Absolutely amazing place and people. The workers are amazing and make you feel like you're hanging out with some friends. The servers are always kind and patient even with the rudest customers I've seen (it's amazing to see it at work, or maybe I'm just impatient) and the cooks are always so great to to talk to when you sit at the bar. Always a good place to go. Second time they have been out of smoked salmon for nigiri which is fine, but I enjoy it. Suggest getting a window seat as the seating against the wall gets loud. One of the only All You Cam Eat (AYCE) sushi spots in the area and it was delicious! We had a little bit of everything from Bento Box’s, to individual rolls, salad, Miso Soup, Ngiri, and of course AYCE! The AYCE has adjusted prices for kids which is really awesome too! They do have pretty strict rules on how much you can order at one time. These restrictions are to help you not waste, because they make it clear you’ll be charged for leaving food on your plate. The sushi was made fresh but it does take time, especially if they are busy, so be patient. Our server was also very friendly and attentive! The West Salem one is so much better, better service better food and they are way faster. Will definitely never be going to the Monmouth one again. My husband and I went out for all u can eat and we had to wait 20 minutes for them to even take our order and then 20 minutes for or food and then 20 minutes for a new slip and then 25 to 30 for for the food and we had to wait 20 minutes for the check and got charged 25$ extra because we didn’t finish all the food, it was a horrible experience and when we asked if we could just pay what we ate instead of doing all u can eat price then said the wait won’t be much longer and everyone was just standing around instead of helping customers, and they gave us dirty plates!! This location specifically reigns supreme over Albany or Salem. I love walking in and being greeted by the friendly staff and given options for bar seating or a booth. I quite enjoy their lunch special running between 11am and 4pm where you can get cucumber salad, miso soup and 2 classic rolls. My personal favorites to order though is the seaweed salad, the Salem roll and the Kenji roll. The miso soup is delicious for the first course followed by the rest.
