The food is delicious!!!! The server was really nice, but never refilled all of our drinks. We didn't even get silverware right away. We asked another server walking by for them and he just smoked and walked away and didn't even help us either. Despite that, the food was so good and the portions were huge!!!

I always come here if its a family meetup or holiday, they always serve the best food! I usually order the quesadilla, or hamburger since I'm not a big fan of Mexican food, but they never dissapoint. Sorry I took the picture of the hamburger after biting into it. The meat lacks a little flavor in juice, but the cheese compliments it well. The fries are awesome too. I'd definitely go here if you want some Tex Mex.

This is one of those Tex-Mex chains that’s been around for a while and the people who enjoy it are regulars keeping the restaurant alive. Like most Tex-Mex restaurants it’s decorated with traditional Mexican designs and decorations. It has a bar hidden inside the restaurant that explicitly states absolutely no minors and another bar inside the restaurant to cater to diners. There was no one at the host stand when we arrived, but it was lunchtime and there wasn’t many patrons. We waited for a few minutes before someone came to seat us.
Our server brought us water, chips, and three different kinds of salsas while my wife went to the restroom. We then ordered the presidente margaritas, lunch combo fajitas for one, and the mole enchiladas. The food came out within 15 minutes with the fajitas sizzling on a bed of grilled onions. It seemed like they did the ice on the grill trick because the meat was over cooked and didn’t seem fresh. My wife enjoyed her mole enchiladas. The refried beans were great, too. The Mexican rice was a little wet and not my favorite.
The margaritas were underwhelming. I appreciated how they didn’t use a very sugary mix and the menu says only lime juice. It came with Cointreau and patron, but it wasn’t very strong.
When we finished our meal we were brought sweet Mexican candies which is cinnamon sugar pecans in condensed milk and sugar. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Overall this place wasn’t bad, but it was just meh and not memorable.

Been going here for decades. You either love it or you don't. Classic salsa is vinegar based and really nice. Relish is also vinegar based and really enjoyable. The black beans (side dish) are savory good. Will be back next time I'm in planet Houston.

Love, love, love. Can't wait to go back to try something new. They start you off with 2 or 3 kinds of salsa and some pickled carrots. I had the Mexican Hot Plate (One cheese enchilada, one tamale with chili con carne, rice, and beans). So, so good!¡

True Tex-Mex…I ordered the chicken enchiladas. Did not care for the red sauce it tasted like tomato paste. The chicken had a good flavor. O the chips were good also. The salsas has a vinegar taste to it. It’s a no for me…

I was looking for a good, affordable Mexican restaurant when I saw this Bellaire Blvd location on Google Maps. Back in the late 1980s and early 1990s, I dined at the Molina's Cantina on SH 6.
The food here is excellent and less expensive than many other quality restaurants in the area.
The complimentary chips are served with three different dips. I ordered the chicken enchiladas topped with a tomatillo sauce. The Spanish rice is light and fluffy.
I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and it didn't break the bank. Now that I have "rediscovered" Molina"s, I will be returning.

Their happy hour food and margaritas are very small. I ordered the taquitos, and it was one whole taquito cut in 3 pieces for $6. The margaritas are $6 and very small glass. Would have expected a little more selection for happy hour and a little bigger servings.

They must have a new chef because I've eaten here for years and it's always serviceable Mexican food with great chips and pralines! But ate here Saturday and it was a splendid experience, had chicken tornados as did my dining guest (she had ground beef) and they were both excellent with plenty of meat and sour cream. They have beefed up their salsas, now three and 2 were actually spicy hot. Definitely recommend coming here or trying again if you haven't been a while. Our waiter did go MIA but a couple of other people filled in and I got my check. Still have great pralines too!
