As long as the fundamental is right ie. Good grade and quality coffee bean, the coffee will turn out just right! That was what experienced by yours truly during my visit to Moka & Grain, a cafe located in USJ 9.. and area quieter and less busy compared to USJ 10 Taipan next door. The cafe is quiet with various types of table, chair and even sofa to enjoy the morning coffee. ◾Signature - Maple Smoked Biscoff's S'mores Latte .. a novelty which is pretty Instagram-able presented on cocktail glass complete with smoke upon presentation. Order this.. I couldn't order because I don't drink sweet stuff. ◾Safe to say that her flat white and my long black were good enough to put a smile on our faces. We spent a good 2 hours doing own works before leaving. Few choices of beans - Sunrise, Forest and Bold with different characteristics. Do ask the barista on your preference. I don't normally eat breakfast so I did not order their hot food. But for coffee, I can vouch for the quality - do drop by if you are in the vicinity. We had their cake, coffee and a peach & ginger tea. We are returning here for the fourth time and absolutely love their tea and coffee selection here. However a little disappointed with the size of carrot cake slice served. It’s literally half of the usual serving of sliced cakes compared to many other cafes in subang and it’s also priced at RM 16. Wondering if I would return for the cakes again although it tasted really good. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The ambience is quite nice. Lots of seating, but when we came, some had been reserved. So limited space available during lunch hour. Foods are great, drinks okay. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Everything was almost fine except the one and only girl at the cash register who couldn't explain at all about the concept of their coffee. First of all, not everyone familiar with the concept. Each cashier/barista should be able to guide any type of customer. The first step is to choose types of beverage (i.e latte, esspresso, cappucino.etc.) and next step, choose the intensity of the coffee. We're not familiar with SUNRISE, FOREST and BOLD but most of us are quite familiar with mild, strong, strongest coffee or "tidak pahit" and "pahit". The supervisor/manager was trying to explain while preparing the drinks for other customer. Meanwhile the cashier seemed uncomfortable with us, who speak Malay. It was like ayam dan itik trying to converse. We also couldn't understand what she said as her accent; maybe gen-Z accent? New York accent? Finally the manager/supervisor asked other staff to attend us. Malay staff who can speak Malay language fluently. I am not sure if the cafe's target market is non-Malay but please train the staff in dual language and able to tell "best seller" coffee. That was the only English word we used, the "best seller". The coffee are excellent. Exquisite. Suits some us who are not fond of coffee and me, a coffee enthusiast. I love the concept of sunrise, forest and bold. Make me feel like coffee expert when I learn that sunrise, forest and bold coffee grain came from various countries. I chose bold as suggested by the Malay girl. The taste is much better than Star****s. No additional cost $$$ as I usually need to add shots and substitute to other milk in order to get the right one. Will visit this cafe again. Cozy cafe with chill ambience. Ordered iced latte and long black for drinks and slice of cheesecake. Few options of coffee beans for you to choose and we opt for Sunrise and Bloom. The staff was patient in explaining the beans. Latte espresso flavour was strong but personally think it could be better if steamed milk can be richer too as I found it rather bland on milk taste. Pastries and cakes were served as well. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our visit and would love to come back again.

The coffee is really good. They got a few choices of bean that are great. The only downside is the cup is too small for that price tag. Service Take out Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of the best cafes so far. This place checks all the right boxes - quality barista coffee, yummy cakes, good service, reasonable prices and a beautifully designed yet cosy space. For a theatrical performance, order the maple smoked biscoff s’mores latte - where the biscoff-chocolate covered drink is smoked right in front of you. Otherwise, just opting for the classic white or black coffee is a treat, as this specialty cafe provides a variety of house blends or single origin beans. The cakes, missing a bite or two from the photo, is evidence of its delicious-ness, as the fam was over eager to dig in before my phone could take a bite. Lastly, a big shout out to the interior of the space, set out in warm tones of timber and curvy edges, makes for a really well designed place.

A MUST TRY!!! Totally impressed with the beautifully set up cafe with awesome deco and ambience. I would say a superb Instagram worthy cafe. Something that we want to shout about is the uniqueness way of mixture and style of blending coffee beans to make an awesome cup of coffee. Even the material & size of cups makes a difference. Thought it was very special and really informative the explanation by barista on what & how our cup of coffee was spiced up 😆👍. Awesome cafe experience. Will definitely drop by again.😃

Both coffee and food are superb. Ordered shakshuka, chicken couscous, and mushroom risotto. Shaksuka's flavour is on point. Bread is crunchy on the crust, chewy in the middle. I don't usually like couscous and risotto, but these dishes were pleasant. Especially mushroom risotto, which was recommended by the staff, it came with a generous serving of mushroom (with eryngi!) and rocket leaves. If you like jackfruit, you could try forest blend latte/flat white. The taste notes are very unique!

A spanking new cafe at USJ 9 that serves specialty cafe and a variety of pastries. The ambience of the cafe is very good it is not noisy even-though it was crowded. We ordered their signature, Smoked Maple Biscoff Latte which was very gimmicky but it is worth a try for the first timers! Their Spanish latte was not as sweet compared to Arabica’s version. Their glazed lemon cake was one of the best I had as well! Ambience: 5/5 Coffee: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Price: 4/5
