I enjoy buying here since they have reasonable prices and wide varieties of items that you need. However, the staff is not kind enough to let us take pictures inside. I don't know maybe its their policy not to. Perhaps its some sort of security related reasons.
Really great store with favorable pricing. Love the selection and arrangement of the products. Super bonus: my checker had excellent English so we had a couple laughs and she gave me some Portuguese language tips as I struggled through pronunciation.

The Continente store offers a very good range of products. From the expected products to a massive selection of health foods and some international produce.
Tip for Brits and tea lovers, Cha Preto, Lipton yellow box or Tetley dark blue box are the closest to our average brew and you can find cadbury's chocolate here too.
Similar to Carrefour of France or Tesco in the UK.
They have a very good coupon system though it pays to be shrewd.
They give you coupons at the till for a fuel discount that is only valid at Galp stations. Not usually a lot but between 5/10 cents a litre.
Note: Galp service station in Sines is currently closed for renovations the next closest would be Porto Covo, Santo André or Santiago do Caçem
