This has jump to my list of favorites. Is been awhile since I have found a new favorite dish and they just did that. First it is in a great location with activities to do around (hacienda la fe, skatepark, etc) so one can plan a day around visiting the area. The service was top notch, friendly, making sure everything was good and quick service. The place has a nice modern look to it, simple, but elegant. The food was divine. For appetizer I order there empanadilla and each bite was great and fullfilling. For main course they offer a plate I had yet to find in other similar restaurants, Mofongo Boricua. It married two of my favorites, mofongo and arroz mamposteao. The mofongo serves as the bed and arroz sits on top of it, taking a bite of both combine was perfection. Top of with churrasco al ajillo on top and every bite was wonderful. It was truly a great experience all around Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Mofongo Boricua

Mixtos is a favorite of mine. It has amazing Mofongo. Their mofongo relleno de pollo with the coconut carbonara is at the top of the list for me. Everyone time I have someone come and visit, I make sure to take them to Mixtos and to get this dish. Also their piña coladas are excellent! Oh and get the civeche too. I would like to share my experience today at Mixtos restaurant, where I've been a patron for almost a year, consistently enjoying their stuffed chicken. Unfortunately, during today's lunch visit, the stuffed chicken was hard, uncooked, and practically inedible. Politely, I informed the male waiter who took my order about the issue. He apologized and mentioned they were too busy, assuring me he would notify the decision-maker. Despite waiting patiently, receiving no attention, I flagged down another waitress, informing her of my wait for the manager. She reassured me that the responsible person would arrive shortly. When the manager finally appeared, she was apologetic and seemed to fully understand the situation. She thanked me for bringing the matter to her attention and took my dish to the kitchen for a remake. However, after a 45-minute wait, she returned, stating that her kitchen staff refused to redo my chicken, claiming I had consumed most of the meal. This assertion was untrue and incredibly disappointing. If I had consumed my meal, why would the manager have taken my dish to the kitchen? Unfortunately, resolving the issue became a significant ordeal when my husband told the manager that he wasn’t going to pay for a meal I never ate. His usual meal and his mom’s meal was as usual, delicious. Eventually, the manager contacted someone by phone who agreed to remove my meal from the bill. I wasn't trying to get a free meal; I was hungry and wanted a properly cooked dish. However, the handling of the situation was far from satisfactory. The experience left me on the verge of tears, as it seemed no one remembered the details of my order before it went back to the kitchen. They should review their cameras. Having referred numerous people to this establishment without a single complaint, I found it disheartening that, in this instance, the staff seemed indifferent to the outcome of my grievance due to their extremely busy shift. This is not the appropriate way to address customer concerns and is truly unfortunate. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The service was quick and welcoming. The waiter broke down all dishes and gave us details on all our inquiries. He (Kevin) even made suggestions. The Sangria (red) was amazing. Not overly sweet but sweet enough and smooth flavor. I'll add the photos of the Bacaloto Chips (cod fish) which was new for me. Delicious and savory. Now shown was the half rack of ribs (costillas)...need I say more (: PS our second waiter was L3slie who was also a doll. This is definitely a recommended spot. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Mixto has a relaxing environment. I was going to give it 3 stars because of the wait time and cost. However, the PORTION SIZE and the FLAVOR were worth the time and money. I would 100% go here if you are visiting San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
