The seafood is quite fresh and this restaurant was recommended by a friend. My main issue is that the tuna sashimi was not cut properly, so it was hard to chew and so i gave up on trying to eat it. The place seemed popular and had some private rooms also.

Beautiful, romantic setting. Extremely fresh, delicious sushi. Great service. We had the price fix dinner, which seemed to be very popular. Thank you to the Sommelier (named Romain?), who helped us choose some excellent sakes.
Mitsui Cuisin at Dazhi offers high quality and delicious seafood, sashimi and sushi. Varieties of sushi are available for choice or you can order a combination plate with different types of sushi which is my favorite order. Atmosphere is great both seating at tables or bars. Prices is at high grade, of course, but it's worth the money for such great food and cuisine.

Still a great place to go for some refined Japanese cuisine after all these years. Went there for lunch today and stuffed myself silly with a large bowl of chirashi, salad, fish soup, and finished with the mandatory dessert and coffee /tea. Excellent service to boot.
Update Jan 2023: went for lunch again but picked the 1,500NT set course. Excellent cuisine and presentation. Service could be better but we sat in the corner so it could be the reason.

This review is only for the pre-packed food to go. The price was mid-high. The food quality was OK but not the best although the fish is fresh when the store just open. I like the tuna sashimi it tastes better than the sushi(with rice). I will probably just go for the sashimi next time. The beef bowl was kinda salty…not my thing.
Great to have this in Dazhi. Plus it’s not “salmon” themed !!!

If you like custom Japanese food with a reasonable price, strongly recommend you to come here. A good place for family gathering or business lunch. Both you and your guest will feel satisfied.
We celebrated the CNY eve a few days earlier as I am going abroad in these two days. The restaurant was not fully occupied, but still quite many visitors.
The sashimi plate was good, as all items were fresh and delicate, also beautiful by appearance. The whole crab was stunning as it tasted fresh and juicy while it appeared with a bigger than imagined size.
The beef skewers were of Wagyu level, very juicy and tender. Two skewers for each of us. Nigiri sushi was great, too. All good as per the suggestion by the person taking our order. It's 2500 TWD per person, but it was worth since I enjoyed it with my family. The experience was priceless.
The food was really bad for my taste. I couldn't touch the soup from the horrible smell. Overall bad apart fr9m the shrimp tempura.... it was just edible

Probably the best accidental find by us. Not kidding when others say the food is FRESH (yes, in capitals). For the same quality back home, I am pretty sure the set we had would go for more than 2500 TWD. Basically great value for the quality. Very hard combination to achieve, and these guys did it. Staff was super helpful too. Didn’t have to ask to refill out water cup at all the whole night. Highly recommended
