About
After looking at india sajawat & Puja Hut, have a meal at Mithaas. Indian food is nice at this place. This restaurant offers tasty chole bhature, dahi puri and panipuri. Invite your beloved with you to have good kulfi, ice cream and pudding. Mithaas has great masala chai, coffee or mango lassi among its drinks. This place is good for guests who have supper on the go because they can order dishes as a takeaway. The staff is said to be cute here. This spot is remarkable for its terrific service. Delicious meals at democratic prices are offered here. You will certainly like the quiet atmosphere and beautiful decor. But this restaurant is not highly estimated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

Food was good. However, service sucks, women at the billing counter was notoriously rude. We ordered extra rice which we never received even after the payment. Left the restaurant without even finishing food. I guess they don't care for customer service in NJ. Really disappointed Service Dine in Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Recently I went to Mithaas Oak Tree Road, but it was a big disappointment. The bedmi poori, which I used to like a lot, has degraded the quality a big time. It's not like it used to be before. In the restaurant itself, they appeared very hard. My kids couldn't eat that. We also got the Kaju Katli from there, which is actually blackish in the color and taste bitter at the end. It seems like it was old and not fresh. Very disappointing quality and service from Mithaas. This is the last time I went to Mithaas. Food: 1 Service: 1

Wah Kya baat … what an amazing food. Chaat, street food, Paav bhaji, Chole bhature and so much more. I highly recommend the everything paratha though, something I loved a lot here. Nevertheless, the staff is so courteous and kind. I went here again to buy some Indian milk based sweets. Good job guys. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My friends and I visited this place for lunch. The place serves a variety of veg dishes and also sweets. We ordered pav bhaji, sev puri, chole bhature, vada pav and amritsari platter. Best was chole bhature and vada pav. Pav bhaji was bland, amritsari platter has onion kulcha with too much onions. We took sweets too like motichor laddo which were good. Overall a good place and recommended but there are many Indian restaurants close by too to check out. Visiting Mithaas in Edison felt like we were transported back to India. The ambiance is typical of a laidback Indian restaurant, the diners were almost entirely Indian, and you could have an entire conversation with the staff in Hindi or Gujarati. The food was quite good, but if held to the high bar of an Indian restaurant back in India, i felt like it could have offered more. The chaat was average and the Chole in the Chole Bhature could have been more flavorful. Nonetheless, the Veg Seekh Kebab were quite tasty even if they didn't look or feel like a traditional Veg Seekh Kebabs, and the Aloo Paratha was also quite tasty. We ordered a Cappuccino to go and it was great (felt like a hybrid between a filter coffee and a Cappuccino). The servers were polite and courteous, even though the service was terribly slow (likely owing to how busy they were due to the long weekend). The one area where they really need to improve are the cleanliness and hygiene levels. The cutlery had visible water stains and serving trays looked dirty from prior orders. One of the bathrooms had a mop and a bucket full of filthy water. These things should not happen and negatively impact an otherwise positive dining experience. All said and done, there is a lot to like, but if and when i return, I'd like the cleanliness and hygiene levels to be better.
