Very quiet when we visited and we were initially unsure of whether to stay. Service and general condition of the restaurant could be improved. However, the food was really tasty and we could not fault it. Maybe not our first choice but definitely passable.

Absolutely amazing food. We have been twice, ordered the chicken coconut milk red curry, olam koi, papaya salad and seaweed soup between our two visits and every dish impressed! Service is great and the restaurant is massive!! First time we went just before 5pm and it was empty, second time we went Friday 6:30pm and they were full from all the tourist companies (I think??) that come here / large groups but said they could accommodate us in half an hour so we came back. They were very kind to accommodate us considering how busy it was! The food is full of flavour with various herbs and spices being a treat to the palate. Each dish pays homage to Laos’ history and makes you feel like you are really experiencing Laos. The sticky rice is presented in the traditional sticky rice basket which feels lovely. The foods are aromatic and colourful. Definitely all dishes that put a smile on your face if you are a foodie! Important to note that there are plenty of vege/fish dishes - something for everyone. Worth every penny. 10/10!!

Went at 10am. They said they were open but no other customers. They said sit where you want.
Sat outside at dirty glass table. After 10 minutes finally brought menu and we had them wipe down table top. I ordered 2 dishes. 5 minutes later server returned to say they did not have vegetables for dish. We changed.
The crispy pork and crispy chicken dishes were not crispy, but delicious and lots of meat. 65,000 kip each dish.. so sonewhat expensive. Service very slow and marginal.
Nice place. Maybe better in the evening when they care about customer service.

Still a good authentic Lao food restaurant, after visiting the places every night for drinks and snacks during my meeting in Luang Prabang in late 2001. The staff is friendly as always. A pity the renovation of Phu Vao Road has made it impossible for a tourist bus to park in front, resulting in us the only customers for lunch last Saturday. Food was good and cheap
