Great dive. The Mineshaft came highly recommended to us by the owners/operators at Cheers Taproom down Bridge Street. They warned "get buzzed before you go in there if you really want to appreciate the place. Open 24 hours and folks "get naked sometimes". Good advice. The Mineshaft is ... A vibe. Also know that if you are coming in from out of town the hotels have a shuttle that runs till 11 so you don't need to stumble home in the cold. Don't thank me, thank the conscientious staff at Cheers for expert planning --making your next Northern Nevada bar crawl the success you knew it could be. Mineshaft and all. #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork

Awesome home town bar with really cool locals. Drinks are drinks folks, It comes down to ambience & company, this place has both. Highly recommended a stop for a road pop at this one.

How to describe this bar... Like, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia went to burning man? Nah... More like, a miner's man cave meets the playboy mansion? Kinda, maybe, idk... No, I got it, it's Rocky Horror Picture Show in Wonderland... No, never mind, it's none of those. It's definitely not a French restaurant, I know that much
