The food portions are huge, which is awesome. All of the food was cooked really well and made to order. Better than a chain restaurant like IHOP or something. But, the restaurant is outdated, I didn't like the atmosphere so much, it's an older joint and had a very tight small bathroom that you go down a hall to get too that's just awkward. Overall, the meal was good and our waitress was great. Plenty of parking and fast service. Overall, good american food joint. We are in town from tn, and we drove past looking for a place to eat. It is a cute little place, and the service is amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was cooked to how I liked it. I also had a pomegranate hot tea, which was wonderful. Did not know they made such a thing. I gave the food 4 stars because I did not like the sweet potato fries because they did not have any flavor. Other than that, I would eat there again while we are in town. Short review: Great diner! Huge portions! Good food. Long review: If you're visiting Flagstaff this is a must stop. It is an amazing diner. Huge portions. The food always comes out super quick. This is their original location. There's also one closer to campus. You can order breakfast anytime of day. I have always loved their biscuits and gravy. This particular time we ordered two cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, and the two egg breakfast with biscuits and gravy. The food came out super quick. And it was delicious. No one leaves Mike and Rhonda's hungry. This is the perfect stop if you are going to be doing a day of activities and want everybody to be filled up. There is something for everybody because their menu is so vast. They are extremely popular so if you go during the weekend or busy times you may have to wait for a table. This place is still amazing decades later! Used to come here in the 90’s and early 2000’s and I haven’t been back in probably 10 years or so until this morning. Brought my kids this morning and while it’s still a nostalgic place for me, this place is priced amazingly well and it’s classic diner food! We got 3 biscuits and gravy, 3 pancakes, a 2 egg special and a chicken fried steak all for like $42 plus tip. Huge portions and great service, super nice people and I’m just happy all around. This is the place to be for classic diner style breakfast and lunch! Oh, and the blueberry syrup is 10/10!

Nice restaurant with home cooked food. The cheese burger I had came with a hand made patty and was 1/2 pound. The fries were great as well. They were cooked just right. Crispy outside and soft inside. The service was friendly and fast. It's a seat yourself style of restaurant with a decent amount of tables. Visiting the US from Europe we were eager to eat at a diner-style place, like we know from the movies, and we were not disappointed when we found THE place. The staff was super charming and welcoming. We enjoyed the best coffee of our whole trip there. The portions were huge(!)
