The food was very good, I took the goat cheese salad, chia pourige, and mango smoothie. The salad was rich, many ingredients, a lot of Balsamic souse, pomegranates, nuts, grapes, baby leafs, and more. The cheese was perfect, soft from the inside and crispy from the outside. The mango smoothie was tasty, and the black berries that came with it were also great. The chia pourige was beautiful, I would prefer it more sweet, but it was very nice, balanced. The service was slow, maybe they don't have enough weiters, maybe they are not efficient, but it was very long time that I waited to order. It a bit weird that you pay before you get the food, you sit there like in a regular restaurant with service, but pay before and not after. I also ask for a glass of tab water, I got the tiniest glass I can think of, tinier than that would be a shot glass. The weiters are very nice though. The place itself looks very nice.

Good smørrebrød and larhe portions. They have oatmilk for coffee and the smoothies are very tasty. It is such a lovely ambiente to sit next to a cute flowershop outside and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We ordered a cappuccino, a mango smoothie and nachos.
The cappuccino tasted just fine, like at many other cafés. The mango smoothie was also decent. However, the coffee had been spilled a bit on the side and on the handle, the spoon was too short for the cup. So it was impossible to drink from it without getting my hands dirty. It was the same for the mango smoothie. On top of this, the mango smoothie was a good 80% ice. Which made it difficult to drink.
The nachos were fine. The salsa sauce didn't taste like much, and the guacamole was a bit too sour for my taste.
The interior of the café is very cozy, and sitting outside looks nice too (maybe not in this cold winter weather). However, we visited during a busy Saturday, and there were so many workers running around. There were many people, which made it noisy. This really ruined the cozy atmosphere.
The couple sitting beside us found a screw in their food??? (They got their money back, luckily).
Despite the many workers, they obviously don't know how to properly run this place when there are many customers. Prices are too high.
I won't come back here. It was not worth my time nor money.

Cosy, casual, good lunch . A mix of ordering and paying at the counter and being served at the table. Staff are not overtly friendly but performing smoothly they are in no rush to clean the tables however :). I find it system unfair to waiters as they get no tips, and of course less incentives to do better service. Expect cues around lunch time. Have in mind, this is Denmark so this place is pricey in comparison to other EU capitals.
If you are going to have a window that looks into the kitchen, make sure the employees don't blow snot out of their noses.

I have fallen out of love & patience for this cafe now.
There was a time when you ordered your food & paid at the cash desk & were given a table number & you sat & waited for your food.
Now you choose a table first & wait for the server to take your order. Unfortunately, the last couple of times I’ve been here this system has not worked.
Today I sat outside by the windows & waited approx. 12 mins to be served. No one came. So I left. I used to be a frequent customer, either with family or meeting with friends. But not anymore. I went down to the other cafe nearby and in the same time that I had waited at Mig og Annie, I had already been given my food.
Nice cafe in the heart of Lyngby. Great service. Food is good, tables are a bit small. Prices are a bit on the high side but I guess that's because of the location.

Arrived there just before 21:00 on a Friday night. Was handed a menu, but none of the 3 staff came back to take our order. There were only about 10 people in the restaurant. Instead a waiter came to 3 other tables in our section to ask if they want to order last drinks now so that he and his colleagues could clean and leave ... needless to say, 2 of the tables' clients shortly after left. And us? We gave up after 30 minutes of being invisible despite waving and making eye contact to attract attention ... and we will not be back. So if the owner ever wonder why it is not a thriving business ... this is a tip.
