Finally, a quality surf shop in Midtown. This shop just opened and already I’m impressed with the selections and prices. Not too overloaded with junk, but it has a lot of stuff. Sticks of all kinds, wax, fins, wetsuits, trunks, cloths and more. Look out for the 50% off sale rack, loaded with goods! The staff and owner are helpful and cool too.

Awesome surf shop, has tons of cool stuff in there including heaps of boards, paintings, and merchandise from Her Waves. Also has a coffee bar and great hang out area that’s great to do some computer work at with WiFi. The staff working there were really great and welcoming aswell. 10/10

Surf shop + coffee? Wait, what? Such a place exists? Yes, and it is awesome! Midtown is super stylish and inviting. Great ambience too. A surf shop with all the beautiful things you would expect. Clothes, accessories, decor, lifestyle stuff, etc. And all the amazing surfboards too, of course. It doesn’t matter if you surf or not, I’m sure you will find something here. And I simply loved the idea of incorporating a coffee shop to it. You can get your shopping done and enjoy a coffee. Or come for coffee and buy something from the store. That was my case. Came for coffee with a friend and left with a hat and mug. Will certainly go again since I loved the atmosphere and concept. Glad to have this new spot in SC.

Stopped by after a MTB ride at Soquel Demonstration Forest. I loved the atmosphere and the Vanilla Latte and Cappuccino I tried. Very friendly baristas as well. My girls love to surf, so I’ll have them check out the surf-related inventory next time around, which will certainly be soon! :-)

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is super helpful and not only are the boards and surf accoutrements stellar, but so is the coffee. IT's everything I ever dreamed of in a surf shop.

Rough experience with ding repair. Took a board here, was told “oh yeah week or two and x price”. Ended up being over double price, more than a month to repair. No communication despite me checking in regularly and to boot I was told color matching wasn’t a problem… that didn’t happen. Stoked on them before this but just too many strikes here to ignore.

Absolutely amazing shop! They have a very unique line of goods. From high quality boards to surf shaping supplies to unique and local artisan goods..this shop has it all! Plus you can get a coffee while you peruse. Dylan(?) was such a stoked dude and made the experience even better. Highly recommend Midtown!!!

Nice clothes and great vibes but the clerk may have thought we were tourists because she tried to to rip us off. And because we requested the discount on the pants, she did not even fold the clothes we were buying and just gave us the stack… You should really improve your customer service..

Midtown Surf Shop was the only place where I found Dakine Roof Rack Pads in a color way and size that was sold out everywhere else. On top of their incredible inventory, the shipping was lightning speed, and their customer service was top notch! Such a cute shop, from what I can tell and I hope to one day visit. Highly recommended! Support small businesses :)
