It was a surprise dinner for me, and apparently it was a locally known dining spot. Love the open kitchen concept, how authentic the dishes were prepared. The food was delicious, especially the pasta texture, al dente, on point! We were particularly impressed with the pork shank and fillet mignon. The meats were tender, especially how flavorful the pork was. The place has an eccentric rhythm when interacting with customers. We had no issue with the staff, but I can see how easily they would upset people. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $800–1,000 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Ingredients 10/10 Sauce 10/10 Cooking 3/10 Ingredients were super fresh. The sauces were on point. Expectations were super high given some reviews saying this is the "best restaurant in southern Taiwan" and was also referred by a friend in Hong Kong. The disappointing parts were all due to easily avoidable issues: 1. Scallop cream of corn soup with churro - soup was borderline cold and the churro was hard like walnut shell but still can be uncomfortably oily 2. Octopus tentacle was the largest I've seen in a while - maybe that's why it came undercooked, but even after we sent it back it still returned semi raw Now the good parts: 1. SAUCE - the sauces were SO GOOD. The sauce for the duck confit risotto was especially worth noting; it made the innately heavy duck confit easy to eat and enjoy 2. PASTA - the spaghetti is home made and was cooked perfectly Al dente; the seafood that accompanied felt like they were "sea-to-table". In my opinion not worth the hype. Good Italian place with great view of the seaside. Atmosphere was comfortable and lively. We ordered the scallop spaghetti and the fried assorted seafood. The spaghetti was delicious, while the fried seafood batter was a bit too hard for my taste. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and will return.

Famous restaurant in Kenting area, yet with some room for improvement. We ordered two appetizers and two main courses, but they didn’t deliver them in order. we got one appetizer and our main course first, after finishing them for awhile we still didn’t see the other starter and have to ask the waitress. I guessed they forgot because the starter arrived later then our two main courses… Price is considerably expensive judging by the area they’re at, we ordered two starter, main courses, drinks and a dessert totals are around NTD 2600. Luckily we can get a seat on high table as we don’t have booking… staff are nice! Food is good and I love the central kitchen where all guests can watch the chief preparing the food here, feel so comfort!

Came to this highly recommend chain restaurant on Google in the southern part of Taiwan. People were queuing up 30 minutes before the it opens. We didn't wait long to be seated and got our order taken. Food serving was pretty fast for a packed restaurant and they were tasty. The open kitchen located in the middle of the long narrow restaurant, which is kind of in the way for guests to go to the bathroom. However, it was interesting to watch how chef's work in the open kitchen. Couple suggestions. 1. The white wait staff uniform all look pretty worn out, like the very old T-shirt you wear to paint and clean up your garage. 2. We were told while making the reservation that we have 90 minutes to dine. By the 80th minutes, there were few empty seats in the restaurant and no queue outside. The wait staff came and told us and the table next to us that our time is almost up, and please process to the cashier. Well, I just think she could've put it in a more professional way since there was no need to turn over tables.

Italian -Asian fusion at its best! The food is amazing! I tried the crab meat and pumpkin tortellini, it tastes perfect. Also the combination of truffle risotto and duck that goes great together. The last order is at 8:00 pm sharp so make sure to come before that. I once went there at 8:02 pm and it’s not possible to order anything.

This place was absolutely great! One of the best places in Kenting National Park for sure if you're looking for quality western food. The aged steak was cooked perfectly and delicious, the appetizers were tasty and well-presented and even the wine suggested by the server was affordable and fantastic. Be sure to call before you go to reserve a table.

Everything we had, with the exception of the corn soup (truffle oil) was delicious. The service was great. Nice wines, and while not inexpensive, we thought the food offered at these prices represented good value. They should replace the outside furniture though, it's borderline non-functional. We'll definitely be back. Price per person $1,000–1,200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Visited five years ago with unforgettable dining experiences. Though the restaurant at new site has more staffs and spacious seatings, the food is ok yet not to the authentic taste as before. Three starter dishes do not meet expectation: Fried seafood is over cook, the clam could be more juicy and French fries with cherry shrimp lost the smell of chips. Overall still a dining choice at KengDing area but the quality deteriorates.
