What a beautiful restaurant! Nothing like a pink gem on a rainy cold grey day. Packed with art and the smell of delicious Mexican cuisine. Our server was delightful. She made several recommendations of fresh margaritas. We settled with the cilantro margarita, which was absolutely delicious. If you’re a tequila lover, or organic veggie lover this is the place to go. They have a whole menu of nothing but, tequilas that are hard to find. I had chicken flautas off the happy hour menu and a fresh organic salad with the most delicious salad dressing. We finished with a chocolate flan, which was fabulous. This is nothing like a chain restaurant. This is gourmet Mexican food in the beautiful environment. Even the glassware is hand blown by a local artist. I can’t wait to go back. What an incredible experience! The ambiance is beautiful, the atmosphere is energetic, the staff are friendly and engaging, and the food is the most delectable I have tasted! Everything is so fresh and flavorful. This will be our go-to place whenever we come to town. Absolutely LOVED it!! The best truly authentic Mexican entree and dessert I have had in a very long time. Superb blend of flavors in every dish and dessert the three of us ordered. Our service was impeccable. My partner and I ate here on a trip to Cannon Beach in September 2023. I had fish tacos (chose halibut for these on a recommendation from the server) and a seafood soup that included halibut, shrimp and muscles. The fish tacos were easily the best I've ever had. The soup was also top notch. The atmosphere and service were both fine. This might be on the pricier side of what most people expect for Mexican food, but the quality of the ingredients and cooking is evident. Fantastic fantastic food. The margs and chips were truly some of the best I've ever had. Great vegan options, but just be prepared for the high prices (most items are made with local and organic ingredients) and the up-charge for vegan substitutions. We paid around $100 for two drinks, chips, and two entrees. Totally worth it though!

First time here. We went for dinner and didn’t want to eat much. We were told it’s $35 minimum per person. My hubby wasn’t hungry and just came to accompany me. Then we asked if we do take out, they agreed. But also put 20% tip in the bill. I didn’t argue as I wanted my meal but when I checked the website and the menu it says 20% tip for parties of more than 4. That’s strange- why would they apply this huge amount and not let us know and also for take out. For the food, it was definitely expensive for the portion you get. Amazing everything. Drinks, service, food. This place knows how to do Mexican food all with an authentic Mexican service and attention. I travel a lot, and I'm a Mexican foodie. I have never tasted food like this. Fresh, flavorful, filling. So great we're coming back tomorrow. When you're in Cannon Beach, skip the fish & chips and go here. Starting with the good side… Staff were friendly. The margarita was really tasty. Dinner wise, ingredients were fresh. La Pendejada was full of flavor… not a typical tamale we got else where. The corn and the pork flavor really came out. Everything else on the plate was delicious. As for the Haystack plate, even though the seafood was fresh, overall it was not quite hitting the mark. Personally, I think the sauce should be slightly reduced. The rice was a little too buttery and salty. The bread/toast would be nice if an artisan/rustic bread was used. After all, this is a $44 plate, which warranted a higher expectation. If we ordered a different dish, we might be happier with the overall dinner. We were a little torn after the meal. Coming back here when we revisit Canon. This restaurant makes delicious cocktails and yummy food. Is a bit different from the Mexican food I usually have but it's nice to have a little fusion and change sometimes. Their food is full of flavor and seafood is fresh. The halibut ceviche is a must-have. I like the staff. They are sweet, friendly, and hard workers. The price is high but seems like that is the price around that area. Overall I recommend you to check it out if you are craving a hint of Mexican and a spice of fusion.
