I recently visited during Cinco de Mayo and I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The place was packed with other customers, but we were able to reserve a table ahead of time. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Tyluda and it was almost as big as my forearm! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the toppings were flavorful without being too spicy. The drinks are also very flavorful. They offer a margarita fleet so you can try out five different flavors. The margaritas can go as big as 32 oz! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food in a relaxed setting. Mezcalitos has lovely staff members who are super friendly, efficient, and attentive! The atmosphere is cozy and the beverages were served quickly but I will not be returning. I ordered the suiza enchiladas and the portion of food is a good size but there was a SEVERE lack of flavor starting with the salsa. Definitely not worth the already elevated price. I took most of it home and added more spices of my own but still threw away most of the leftovers, and I hate to waste food! It just wasn't good and I've sampled good and bad Mexican food from many states. If you have friends sensitive to spice or flavor then they might enjoy this place. We heard great things about this place. It was one let down after another. The margaritas were nasty, they got the order wrong, when we did get our food it was very subpar. The sauce in the arroz con pollo was thick almost gravy like. The quesadilla was a sloppy wet mess that was thrown together haphazardly. Hate leaving a poor review but if you're wanting quality Mexican food, look elsewhere. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I have visited this place multiple times, and I must say that the service is consistently awesome, and the food is absolutely fantastic. The bar area offers an enjoyable atmosphere, perfect for catching a game on the TV. The margarita selection is extensive, ranging from delightful house-made options to top-notch Cadillac variations. Also, they serve beans with the salsa, it's a nice touch. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chips and Salsa

Customer service is amazing. Came to grab an appetizer with my mom (and Birria tacos) and there was left overs. Great portions. Very delicious. Definitely coming again.
Hmmm... what can I say about Mezcalitos. 🤔 Well, it was expensive. The steak was perfectly seasoned and done just right. The shrimp on my dish were ok. Needed more flavor. Maybe it was because after we tasted the steak, everything else was bland tasting. The beans and rice weren't hot enough but I think that maybe it had been sitting in the service window for a min. The margaritas flights ? 👎 and I'll tell u why. (Because it's why I'm here, doing this thing )Don't get me wrong. The alcohol to size ratio was spot on. But the flavor wasn't there for any of them except the mango one. And I don't even like mango flavor necessarily. I love watermelon but not in this margarita. Amd the blackberry was not even close to resembling that flavor. I was so sad about that. And not to mention they were $22.00 for the cheap one? When all together it is about as much actual liquid as a whole regular sized margarita.. but my server was awesome. And the owner ? Manager guy? Amazing. We were out of chips and he was all over it ! Bam! Here's some more chips. Smiling. Everyone was smiling. But for $100.00 dinner ? I probably won't be back there. Also the tequila flights poured water all over your shirt when you took a drink of them. So ya. Not trying to ruin a nice shirt when I'm out on a date. But all in all I give it a 3. It wasn't anything to write home about. Buy did I tell u ? That steak was fire 🔥 🤤 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+
Awesome little spot. Price was good. I honestly only have one complaint: the quesa birria tacos are served on a hot stone, which sounds good. It's not. They stick, tear apart, and stay too hot to actually pick up the entire time. They were good, but I had to eat them with a fork, it was awkward. We tried the Mexican egg rolls and the spinach enchiladas. The Mexican egg rolls (pictured below) were really good, and we both recommend them. We would come back for them. It's something unique, that not everyplace has. The spinach enchiladas were just ok. They needed lots more cheese, and the spinach and mushrooms tasted oddly greasy (like meat oil, or cooking oil). the spinach could have been cooked a little more, and seasoned a little more. The oil was the predominant flavor. Service was very quick, polite and kind. No complaints there. Food came out quickly. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

My girlfriend and I were hungry and decided to try this restaurant based on the good reviews. Originally from the southwest I’ve had lots of experience with Mexican cuisine. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly host and server who quickly took our order after being seated. No problems so far. I myself got the chicken burrito combo with rice and beans and of course we received a complimentary side of chips and salsa. This is where things started to go downhill, first off the food prices are quite high, the most expensive Mexican restaurant I’ve been to outside of a major metropolitan area such as Seattle. Despite the high prices we gave it a shot, once our food arrived we immediately noticed the lack of flavor before even tasting the food. Not much seasoning or spices, just a basic burrito with shredded chicken inside and some cheese on top. The burrito did seem more like a wet burrito which I believe was from the chicken juices (usually a good sign) however the flavor of the chicken just seemed off. I can’t even explain what kind of flavor it was but not like any flavor I’ve tasted before for basically plain chicken and cheese. Between my girlfriend’s enchiladas with green sauce, the salsa, and my entire plate I’ve had more flavor from Taco Bell or even small town midwestern Mexican cuisine which is far from authentic. Every time we took a bite it was pure disappointment and didn’t even finish our left overs we took home. I just simply couldn’t do it and I’m not too picky with my food. I just know I personally could and have made a more flavorful burrito at home. I also got a Pina Colada which was quite good but that was about it in terms of flavor. Besides the food having no/off flavor the hard working employees were very nice, if it wasn’t for that I would be giving this place 1 star. All in all it really wasn’t worth the $60 we paid for the quality of food.. I would have rather saved $30-$40 and went to a fast food style Mexican restaurant. If you are set on trying this establishment don’t order the burrito or enchilada combo. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Great service and drinks! The street taco selection was awesome, from pork to chicken to beef. Chips were good but salsa only comes in medium spice - no mild. The interior is older and they might consider modernizing a bit, but overall nice bar/restaurant setting and delicious food at a fair price.
