I cannot say enough great things about this place! I’ve been a patron since they’ve opened. I have never been disappointed by this restaurant. The food, service and atmosphere are always great. You are always seated quickly and the food arrives hot and fresh. Everything I have ever tried off their menu has been perfect. I usually only stick to my tried and true crispy beef taco dinner. I don’t know what they do, the way they season their beef is the best!! I just wish you could get more sour cream rather than those little cups they use. I don’t really care for the thick chips, but that doesn’t stop me from eating a whole basket! I love the hot sauce and guacamole! I will frequent this place for the rest of my life. Thank you Mexican Gardens for remaining the same, great, delicious, authentic Mexican food around! My experience was different. I ordered seafood nachos and it only came with onions, jalapenos, light cheese and micro shredded fish and crab.The amount of onions were so overwhelming and unreal,they were raw white onion.I asked for sour cream and they gave me a, small 1 oz container with a lid(eaten inside). I asked for more cheese, hoping to tame the onions and jalapenos,and my server brought me a plate of melted cheese. I discussed my feelings about the onions with the server and he gave me $6 half off my bil.😳l . I didn't even eat 1/4 of my meal.😳I am outdone!! I will never return. This was my 1st time to this location after hearing about this place a lot of times from people around me. This place has an amazing ambience, and it was so cool to find out that this place has been open for about 4 decades. A few of my favourite items were the Chimichangas and the margherita. Went there for a birthday luncheon. The waitress was quick to the table and very attentive. Drinks were delivered and took an appetizer order which came out real quick. Our main order soon followed. Chicken burrito with two chicken soft tacos, beans and rice. Delicious 😋😋 Everybody commenting on how full they were and can't wait to go back. Nasty soggy nachos. Ordered carry out so didn’t notice til I got home. Manager said “yeah the chips are soggy, there are beans.” Tony the manager said he won’t do anything unless I get back in my car and drive it all the way back. I’ve been coming here since I was a CHILD. This is less than mediocre. Clearly new ownership or something. Nasty. Food: 1 Service: 1
