Not a fan. Just ate here for the first time. Ordered the sampler as an appetizer with mountain oysters, onion rings and mushrooms. Mountain oysters were good, had never had them before. Reminded me of gizzards from Go Chicken Go. I ordered Chicken fried Steak with mash potatoes, and green beans with a side salad. Side salad could have been a meal itself and is served in a metal bowl that made me think that I was eating out of a doggy bowl. Best thing on the plate was the green beans. Super flavorful. Everything else was just ‘okay’, nothing to brag about. Boyfriend ordered Shrimp Alfredo that came with a side of green beans and garlic bread stick. The green beans and bread came on a single plate which cause the bread to be soggy. Tails were still on the shrimp. He also said the best thing was the green beans, everything else was just ‘okay’. No-frills atmosphere with great food and very friendly service. We got the lunch special, beef tips in gravy with mashed potatoes, Texas toast, and green beans. It was excellent, with generous portions. Our server even got us to-go cups for our drinks. Will definitely be back!
