Laura did a great job with our daughters 9th birthday. They made poptarts which I thought was so unique! She was so good at keeping the kids engaged even our toddler who tagged along for the fun! We will definitely be trying out classes in the future 🙂

We recently had my daughter’s 6 year birthday party with Laura! Laura was extremely helpful in the planning portion but also opened her space to us to decorate and made us feel so relaxed and welcomed during the party. The space is great for a party- the kiddos can burn off some energy in the play space and then they were so focused with making their edible cookie dough and really paid attention to Laura’s directions and listened- then they are able to play again before cake and presents. The flow was perfect- everyone (including adults) were entertained for 2 hours and no one wanted to leave! Laura also baked a delicious cake for the party! Would recommend 10/10! Can’t wait to go back for more fun classes!!!

My daughter started baking at MePowered Pastries in the weekly kids classes in April 2023. The classes are fun, recipes are delicious and Laura is incredible! She is so kind, warm, loving and engaging with all of the kids.
The atmosphere is chill, giving your kid time to learn new baking skills but also play time too!
We have also done an in home birthday party with Laura which I would recommend 100%. She brought all supplies and cleaned up all the mess.

Best of the best! Truly the best kid activity in Greater Portland. Show up with nothing, leaving with a delicious treat and a happy kid. From muffins, cookies, whoopie pies and breads. My son and I have done it all. He loves the classes so much he wanted to do his birthday party there too, which we did! All his friends, and parents LOVED it as much as we do. Laura also made the best birthday cake for his party. My son has really enjoyed discovering baking. I am not a baker so it was so cool to find this and give him an opportunity to try something new. I had no idea how much he would love it. He wants to "mix something up" and bake every morning. We have done dozens of classes. Best money spent. You can not have a bad time. Laura is the best with engaging kids, teaching them independence. This is truly the best kid centered activity and we have tried it all. Also, such a cool way to connect with your kid, make a mess, and focus on them without thinking about the clean up!!! Do it! Sign up and we hope to meet so many new friends there!

Laura is a wonderful woman and fellow mama. She curated the perfect toddler party for our 3 year old! We made delicious raisin rolls with 5 other little friends, and not only was Laura a wonderful teacher, the space she has created is amazing. On one side is the “baking/making space” (you don’t bake your creation there), and the other side is a ball pit, foam fort-making blocks, small tables, books, beanbag chairs, and space enough for a dance party! We were also able to set up all our birthday decorations and other food (there are available outlets and she provided tables)— overall, it was a smashing hit! If you’re looking for a unique option for your kid’s birthday party, look no further! She was also super easy to communicate with— I felt like I met a friend after our first phone call. She took the time not only to know what I was hoping for she also asked me specific questions about my toddler in an effort to truly create the perfect experience. Our guests were wowed!
