It's a very nice spot right off ramon. They gave us lots of samples to try. And the food was very fresh and delicious. I especially enjoyed the green tea 🍵😋 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Miso Soup

Great place and staff. Everyone were super friendly and courteous. We got seated pretty quickly being it was a full house. Ambience felt comfy and home-y for my group to the point that we over stayed a bit after they closed. We ordered the #1 bento box, popcorn lobster (I think that's what's called), and two appetizers (gyoza and calamari) and we didn't know how to finish it. The bento was huge and we split it 3 ways with our appetizers and lobster meal that were also a great amount. Great food and would totally recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi. Picture 1: miso soup that comes with the bento box and a comp sushi plate that they gave us Picture 2: popcorn lobster with it's sushi rolls underneath and yes the orchid flowers are edible :) Edit 2023: Still honestly great. Was empty around the time we went (8ish) and was able to sit anywhere so we sat in the patio. We had bento #1 and #3 and with the four of us we were barely able to finish the whole thing. It's so much food. We also ordered popcorn lobster as our appetizer. They also gave us an on the house plate what looked like stuffed chile rellenos and that was hella tasty so I'll grab that as an appetizer next time. So glad all the food was nice and hot since it was nice and chilly outside so it was a great experience. Review of Memo’s Sushi As a sushi lover, I was excited to try Memo’s Sushi, known for its unique Mexican twist on sushi. The staff’s warm welcome was a great start to our visit. My wife and I ordered three sushi rolls - two cooked and one raw. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up: we received two raw rolls and one cooked. When we asked to swap a raw roll for a cooked one, the manager refused, saying it was too late since the rolls were already served. This lack of flexibility in customer service was surprising and disappointing. Regarding the food, the cooked sushi roll was excellent, with flavors well-balanced and delicious. However, the raw rolls didn’t impress us as much. They were overly seasoned with Tajin, overpowering the sushi’s taste. The cilantro sauce also didn’t add much to the dish. The fusion of Mexican and sushi flavors, in this case, didn’t work well for us. Overall, Memo’s Sushi has potential, especially with its cooked offerings. But the experience was let down by poor customer service and some dishes where the flavor fusion was too much. A more subtle approach to blending Mexican and sushi flavors, along with better customer service, could make a big difference. My rating is positive but cautious, reflecting these mixed experiences.
