More than 30 people in line at the self checkout. Only two full service checkouts open. Left my shopping cart and walked out. At one time, Meijer advertised, "You're next in line at Meijer", meaning that additional checkouts would be opened if more than one person was waiting in a line. Not any more. UPDATE: Checkout lines greatly improved on a recent Friday.

A poor imitation of Whole Foods with some items slightly higher priced than the standard Meijer. Bring your on bag or pay for each bag. Overall it seems unnecessary to me. The wine and liquor selection is pretty phenomenal I must note. But the bakery was lacking for a gourmet type store like this.

This meijer makes me SICK! They treat their fish like garbage! First pic was their fish tanks in 2021. Last 2 pics are their fish tanks from yesterday 09/17/23. You can’t even see through them! They’re so caked with algae and filth. How are people supposed to buy fish from there? GET WITH THE PROGRAM MEIJER AND STOP NEGLECTING POOR LIVING THINGS!!!

Quality and service has really really slipped . When I go in the store shop and scan is usually not working. So today I ordered pick up. I was second in line, checked in. Third guy pulls up. They load the third, then the first in line then me who was second. Also I declined the substituted items but was forced to take them because the system didn't allow me to complete the decline substitution. Now I'm told I will get the receipt in a couple of days so I can go in the store and return what I didnt want. Useless waste of time.

Standing in line to check out for at least half an hour. But who can blame them for only having two registers open? It's not like Christmas is the same day every year or anything. Really sprung up out of nowhere.

Good for general stuff, but I'm avoiding their milk and produce, now. Their milk always seems to go bad faster than other stores' and today I threw away a full bag of fingerling potatoes. Not the first time their produce has appeared fine from the outside only to be mushy or brown toward the middle.

We used to shop exclusively at Meijer. But after repeatedly having the milk go bad before it's expiration date, we have switched up where we go. It's unfortunate. Kroger is dependable in their milk and always has it be at least 10 days before expiration.

As a Canadian, whenever I go shopping in the states I'm struck with awe like a communist's first exposure to the free market. Better products, better prices, free plastic bags and genuinely pleasant experiences with the cashiers. We won't use the self checkouts because it's such a treat to have cashiers and staff that smile. Compared to our cramped, overpriced and underserved grocers in Canada, Meijer is absolutely phenomenal....and this location does it even better. Thank you to the staff!

Good produce, nice wide aisles. Prices comparable. Problem is, you have 25 cash registers and 1 open. Then you are forced to stand in a long line like cattle and wait for a self scanner! Never been raised on farm and don't wanna start now! Meijers, care about your customers and hire some cashiers!

Having been gone from Michigan for nearly 40 years Meijer is new to me. I like the variety and the prices. Good craft section.
