Hearty breakfast place serving local taiwanese food with a lil twist. Food is anazing, Service feels really homely, everyone is really friendly.
Definitely will revisit if i am in kaohsiung again.

This place was absolutely delicious! Only an 11 min walk from the Zuoying train station and some of the best breakfast I have had in Taiwan. The service was spectacular and the family was so sweet. 10/10 recommend!!!

Everyone is very kind and friendly! I could not speak or read any Mandarin, so I just pointed a food picture from google review. They immediately notice my struggle and help me. They even use google translate to help me with the menu and how to eat.
Definitely a perfect comfort food to begin the day. The raddish cake was crispy outside, tender inside, and combine with eggs and mint leaves (possibly). So its aromatic as well.
I would come again if I ever visit Kaohsiung! Thanks for the food!

Had the Dan Bing, Turnip Cakes and Green Onion Pancakes. All were exception. Super happy to have stumbled across this place, was not disappointed.
As a side note, the original dan bing has some greens in it, which was a welcome surprise. Would definitely go again.

It was an amazing experience. Even though there was a language barrier, the staff tried to use Google Translate and was very kind and enthusiastic in helping us.
We ordered the famed radish cake (蘿蔔糕, bottom left), pork meat bun (豬排饅頭?, bottom right), vegetable and fruit fried bread (蔬菜焼餅top), and soy milk (豆漿, left).
The radish cake paired with garlic sauce (bottle) was crispy and full of flavour. Pork meat in the bun was juicy, and the bun itself was brown and steamed like a dumpling. The fried bread is a nice finish for breakfast, with the airy bread, and fresh flavour from vegetables and pineapple. Soy milk is also very nice!
Overall a top-notch meal. 10/10 would come again.
