Has lots of vegan food which is fantastic. Unfortunately, the food tasted pre-frozen and bland. Menu could really benefit from more fresh ingredients and those bold flavours Italy is known for. If I'm looking for just an 'alright' meal, I'd say the unique decor, shop, and large kid play area is worth it. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

My boyfriend and I ate here while staying in Johannesburg for a few days from NYC. We came here for the vegan food and we were very happy with our zucchini chips, spinach lasagna, 4 cheese pizza and penne arriabata. It's a really cute place with an indoor / outdoor Italian atmosphere. There's also a small Italian store and prepared food to take home. Very friendly staff too! I would definitely return! A very quaint Italian restaurant meticulously decorated feels like an Italian home. No detail spared in creating an interesting setting and experience. Food was good we had vegan pizza and mushroom pasta was delicious. Service was lovely thank you for a special experience. Wonderful establishment that offers a variety of pizza and pasta dishes for vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters! This is certainly a hidden gem. We tried two vegan pizzas and it was delicious. Service was great and the deli offers a wide range of vegan cheeses and frozen ready-made meals, snacks and sweet treats to go. Supporting this local business is recommended.

Very disappointed. Ordered the pizza with spinach, I love spinach. Pizza arrives - i had to hunt for the spinach and the olives, six halves only. Is this some kind of joke? It has a hefty price tag so I am not entirely sure why you cant give what I paid for. Food: 2

The food was absolutely delicious though a bit oily.... The sorbet was to die. Awesome service. Great place. They have a market to buy their ingredients and we got the vegan mozzarella which is awesome.

I had lunch on a Monday and the server was very accommodating. Unfortunately the owner was around waiting for Bolognese for his dogs. I heard him comment about me sitting inside on such a nice day. And later comment about me ordering a 2nd beer when I should be back at work. You'd think he'd appreciate the business since I was the only guest there. I also had to endure the owner's foul language while he moaned on his cellphone. Pasta was good but there was no fresh pasta available. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1

An astonishing number of vegan options, that don't disappoint at an authentic Italian restaurant. The cheesiest vegan pizza I have had - and such a delicious crust. Heaven.
