We went on a Saturday evening around 6:30pm and it was no wait. However when we were finishing the line was getting pretty long. The meat quality is great, and our server Josh was very attentive. I wish bigger portion of dipping sauces and side dishes were provided in the beginning, but there was no problem to get them refilled. Meat project is one of our family favorites. Whether it’s date night or family early dinner. For months we have come every three weeks. The last two times the service is abominable however, I have noticed hiring signs and I really hope they find good staff again. The whole vibe of meal is off with the level of service. Today we went and our waiter barely spent time at the table. He slapped the meat on the grill without evening the meat out on the grill EVERY SINGLE SERVING. My husband and I had to cook our food nearly completely on our own. The server did attempt to cut one meat in the beginning but it was such a pathetic attempt my husband had to go back to cut it correctly so the whole table could enjoy. Our egg soufflé was burnt on the bottom and was missing the delicious oil/broth that was a consistent previously. The serving size of the meats brought were not conducive to the amount of patrons at the table. Multiple times we sat without water at the table. The gentleman did not speak English (which is fine unless you need to speak with customers) nor did he stop by to check in. We still love Meat Project and will always root for them but for the first time in my life I left a tip that was upsetting for everyone involved but an honest reflection of services provided. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes Hawaiian Bulgogi
