Nothing like finding a hidden gem pub!! Simple hearty good sized meals that nutritionists and doctors hate! This place is that pub!! I had the burger special which had cheese bacon gold bbq sauce lettuce tomato pickle and Cole slaw. It didn’t even make sense reading so I had to order and it didn’t make sense eating either but was a winner!! It’s hard to find a place where you pay under $30 for steak tips and get more than four but here was the place!! The server was so sweet and attentive as well which has been hard to find lately. The only negative item was the frozen onion rings. Can’t go wrong with fresh but it is expected. I would def be back!!

Love this Pub !! Great food and drinks !!. The Guinness beef stew and steak tips were awesome. My Makers Mark old fashioned was made perfect. The pretzels with pub cheese appetizer was really good . The service was friendly and inviting. Fun night out . Thank you !! I look forward to eating and drinking here again.

I have been to McGuiggan’s twice and had an overall OK experience both times. The food is just ok. My southwest wrap was like 80% lettuce with hardly any chicken. The other fried food tastes generic and frozen. The nacho plate was pretty good. The servers are always very pleasant, friendly, and attentive. My biggest problem is how uncomfortable the dinner table chairs are. I sat for 2 hours and they killed my back. Need to invest in some cushions or new chairs. While a good ol’ fashioned pub can be found anywhere, this is the town of Whitman’s spot! You absolutely have to try it there, and will surely agree with my review. Food is exactly what you need- it hits the spot every time! There are still so many things on the menu that I’m dying to try.. Which is easy enough because McGuiggan’s is the kind of place you’ll want to return to! Their pizza, however, has me hooked! Again, with so many pizza places around, this pub pizza just stands out. It’s baked to perfection with fresh and delicious toppings, and is just as good for leftovers as it is served to your table (which I’ll talk about next). Honestly, do yourself a favor and get the app sampler- there are just so many great options and you won’t want to miss out on any. Even though there’s your next visit! I am so confident about your return because of how welcoming of an environment the pub creates. And you certainly don’t get that everywhere! From the host, to servers and bartenders, these people genuinely want to make your experience perfect. I can’t just simply mention the staff’s friendliness, because the managers I’ve met (and even the owners) deserve to be brought up to! Their kindness has clearly rubbed off on everyone there, which includes the kitchen staff that also work hard to make everything right. And McGuiggan’s, from my experience, prioritizes that above all. I sincerely hope you make it a point to stop there soon, or visit it’s sister restaurant, The Patio, across the street (another rave review of that one to come). And please know that while you’re there, these are good people who will do anything to just make you happy !!

The bride and I went to McGuiggans Pub on Friday night it was crowded so we found our way to the bar to grab a seat. We were truly impressed with the bartenders Karen and Lauren they were both friendly and knowledgeable at their trade offering up new drink ideas as well dinner choices and specials. They worked the length of the bar without ever missing a beat .This made for a perfect night with some great food and drinks and a Bruins win.
