I'm a veteran and read that certain McDonald's locations would provide a free meal to vets on Veteran's Day. I asked at the drive through if this location was offering that deal and was told yes. I ordered a meal and went to the window. "$11.36 please." I showed my ID and said I was told it was covered. Then he said no, there's a 10% discount. And off I went. Late night food is likely to be cold or stale. Unfortunately, this is not unusual for this location at this time of night. From 3:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., they are cash only. There are a couple of ATMs across the street. UPDATE: A heads up that if you go after midnight, odds are the fries you order will be stale and soft. You will still pay full price and you will still wait longer than necessary at the window. All they have to do is drop fresh fries but they refuse unless they're busy. Are the manager and franchise owner okay with this? And what's the difference between selling in edible food and theft? There's not much difference. Stop taking your customers money and providing gross food. The staff seems okay except the dude that wears the hoodie. He's unhappy. Great location- right next to the Castle Rock outlet malls. Very nice employees- they didn’t make you feel like they were annoyed by us or that they were just there to get a paycheck. Very pleasant. I worked at Mcdonalds when I was in high school, years ago. The food was excellent and from the manager to the front staff we gave excellent customer service always being super nice to the customers because we knew that their business is what paid our pay checks. Your Mcdonalds, your manager which is black is very rude and then your food is not good. Your buns are hard and the fries are brown. Meaning your grease is not being drained and refilled daily. Your drive through person tonight pushed my bag into my hands, not nice at all. I will not be returning to your Mcdonalds just to much unprofessionalism, just to much. I'm so sad about my order tonight and the treatment that I have received from your facility and staff. God Bless people who try and be nice to others. Amen Service Take out

I understand mistakes happen.. what I don’t understand is when I’m the only car in the lot/drive thru, I order 4 items and drive all the way home to my family with dinner only to see my food is wrong. So I drive back in hopes I’ll have an understanding manager who can fix it and instead I stood for 7 minutes waiting for someone, then the “manager” came over and gave me such a bad attitude. I told her I have my daughter her chicken nuggets so that she could eat but now my fries and my husbands food will be cold because he’s at home waiting to eat with me and I wanted my sandwich fixed and I was bummed that my fries would be cold now when I get home and she said I should have brought all the food back if I wanted new food. Never says sorry, never acknowledged a mistake, and then remakes the sandwich and nearly tosses it at me then walks away. I hardly write reviews but I really am shocked that this is a manager. Not trying to be a karen, but I always say please and thank you and I was not rude, I was upset that I had to drive 10 minutes home to see their error and then back and then forth again and again. This retro style restaurant is clean and attractive, serving a variety of small to medium size burgers with ketchup, mustard, diced onions, and pickles. The bigger burgers have shredded lettuce and two patties. There's other fare here, especially for the kids, as they might appreciate the subtle "clown" theme they have going here. The fries are unique, served thinly sliced, warm and salted in a unique red carton container. The restaurant itself is easy to spot as it has two giant yellow curvy "M's" (which stand for "McDonald's"). However, beware! They do not have table service. You must order at the counter and take it to a table (that you must sometimes clean by yourself). If you have kids, bring them, as there are appealing choices for them, called "Happy Meals", which look to include grotesque little cartoon features who seem at odds with the clown I alluded to, earlier. If you don't have time to enjoy the dining experience, you may opt to drive up to an external speaker where a little garbled mumbly voice will take your order. You then drive a few feet further to pay. After, you're instructed to park in the parking lot until an employee (usually frazzled), brings out your bag, filled with food. Aside from this location, there are many other exact duplicates of this restaurant all over the country! Just keep your eyes open as you travel, especially in the morning, as I hear they also serve muffins at that time... along with burritos! Go figure. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Me and my pals come here a decent ammount and it never gets old. After every event we partake in we already know where we are eating afterwards. Great job mcdonalds, you have really outdone yourselves. The only thing I would advise is a vegan big Mac. My buddy Jacob is always complaining when we go here because he can't eat anything! I never leave negative reviews, but honestly I was just so shocked by the service. When I pulled up to the window, the only responses I got when I was ordering were “what do you want” and “what else”. When I pulled up to the window, he just gave me a dirty look and pointed down at the card reader, even though I couldn’t really reach it. I have come in multiple times and have received gross, cold, overly salted fries. I have had burnt mcgriddles. I have also ordered ice cream many times and wish they would just stop offering ice cream since it never works. I was in the other day, and we ordered a hashbrown and another order for curbside. Knowing it was curbside, they chose not to come outside and check our car because on their end, there wasn't a number where we parked. But we were the only car sitting in the curbside area. So we got a cold hash brown. I am over this location. I have had problems EVERYTIME I come in. Can't wait for the new one maybe it will be better.
