I had a less than pleasant experience today at mcdonalds E franklin blvd gastonia. I entered from the neighborhood,
NOT boulevard, entrance; their were no signs or pavement markings instructing how to enter the drive through from that side of parking lot, so i followed the customer in front of me.
She drove off w/o ordering it seemed. When it was my turn to order I was told to drive around the building bc I had entered the drive through line [with no other other cars present] incorrectly. It was raining hard. I apologized and told her I hadn't been to this mcdonalds in years, and that was how you entered the last time I wasthere. traffic makes it tough to access. By this time the empty line now had 4-5 cars in line. The manager was summoned and told me to drive around and go to the back of the line. I chose not to do that and remained at the menu, and was in a game of chicken w an angry manager for 10 min. The manager chose to let 8 cars pile up in the drivethrough rather than take my order. Finally, after two more cars got in the line, she took my order. The waiting cars were wrapped around the building. My question is ; is this is how she supervises her young employees. I would not be comfortable with my kid working under someone with her attitude. Attention to the order, rather than being a disciplinarian of customers would greatly benefit the mcdonalds on East Franklin blvd gastonia.
