I specifically wanted to give my praise to Karen at the North McDonalds in Somerset. After having difficulties with a different manager (who couldn't understand that I wanted extra vanilla syrup in my iced coffee rather than putting sugar packets in it), Karen understood my request and went above and beyond to be a delight and accommodate as much as possible. Her smile was contagious and I genuinely enjoyed being in her presence. The other employees could learn a thing or two about hospitality from Miss Karen! :) Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Worked here when I was younger. The atmosphere was typically very welcoming. The employees here are very good and hospitable. To this day this remains a great place to come and eat. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I do not recommend taking kids here to the play place. Every single time we go we end up sick immediately!!! Idk if they don't clean the area or it's the gathering place for all sick kids but just don't go unless you want to be sick. Let's be honest: It's McDonald's, so my expectations weren't that high to begin with. However, when I visit a "fast" food restaurant, I have a few basic expectations. "Fast" service, friendly service, fresh food, and to at least get what I pay for. Tonight, this location hit only one of those marks: Friendly service. In fact, that is the only thing stopping this review from being one star. I waited so long on the car in front of me at the pickup window, I had to place my car in park and shut it off. By the time I finally got my Big Mac combo, the food was as cold as my drink. And the meat patties they used on my NOT SO BIG Mac, were as small as what I would have expected to find had I ordered a hamburger Happy Meal. In fact, when I got home I had to fix two packs of ramen just to finish getting full. The sandwich had more lettuce and buns than anything, and the meat patties were not even the same size as the buns. Cold Sprite is one thing, but old, cold McDonald's fries and a cold Big Mac is another all together. Tried again 03/26/23 and again I'm disappointed. Service was still friendly but fries were not fresh and barely warm, and the deluxe bacon ranch McCrispy was not deluxe, and barely had any ranch to speak of.
