McDonald's quality has deteriorated. The Cajun burger used to be the best, definitely not the same any longer. Not as spicy as it used to be, actually quite bland. The chips were also very dry and hard when it cooled. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person R 50–100

MacDonald’s in Hartenbos was what to be expected by any franchise place, however, what did surprise me how clean it was (maybe it is new), how helpful their staff was and the integration of screen ordering (which I have seen overseas) but not locally until now. They even had a dedicated person to help them with the technology if they were struggling. There was also a drive-through on the outside, however, I dined in quickly between meetings. Plenty of parking and all on one floor so friendly for disabled or wheelchair people. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 50–100

I waited less than 10 minutes in the parking bay for my order after I paid for our meals by using the drive thru. Terrible, ordered 2 large cokes and 2 large milkshakes with our meals and the way the items where handed over half the milkshake and half the coke dropped out of the carton container that's supposed to hold it. Was all over floor, car and myself. All i got was sorry, no fill up ir anything. I took container with both hands abd seems it's only suitable for small cold drinks. Very disappointed. I ordered an app special on the two Cajun chicken burgers for R70. Instead I got two boerie stacks - how on earth do you mix the two up. Firstly, the boerie stack costs R10 less each compared to the cajun burgers. So I didn't get my money's worth. Secondly I had to wait TEN minutes for the WRONG order. Thirdly, I do not eat fried onions nor do I eat hashbrowns. Food is expensive and I wanted to spoil myself with this deal. Now I got to work and realised I got an order which I can't even eat myself. For me, this was supposed to be a treat. Very upsetting and not the first time this branch has messed up a simple order of mine. Attaching photos for proof. - Also I cannot drive back as it is 15 minutes from my work and waiting so long made me late as well. Very bad experience with food - being allergic to all kinds of chillies. As I bite into my burger, it had Jalapeños on it. Even though the staff gave me another, when I went back to complain, but they did not really cared about the effect and extreme discomfort I faced the 2 days afterwards!
