Mbaire's in Lower Kabete, Kiambu, is a culinary gem renowned for its chevon, pork, fish, and flavorful ugali. This unique eatery offers the convenience of enjoying your meal while having your car washed nearby. The dishes, especially the chevon and pork, deliver rich and savory flavors, complemented by fresh and well-prepared fish. Mbaire's blends great food with practicality, making it a standout dining experience. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Veeeery great food with a very short waiting time. Was once bullied by a kitchen staff (a short dark guy). I wish the waiters can pay attention to the guests so you don't struggle getting their attention. The menu is basically Pork, mutton with Ugali, and not a lot of deviation from that. I'd say there's lots of room for improvement, mostly the sitting arrangement, the service and the meals. Meal type Lunch Price per person KES 1–500 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
This local joint is just right. It is simple enough for a family lunch or dinner. Ideal for a date or just a solo meal. Located next to the road, its easy to spot. Can't miss it, even for first time visitors The price is very fair. I go there for their signature pork and ugali cost me about 200 kes. Their tea slaps on a different level at only 40 kes. Other food items on the menu are also very well priced. Their butchery is also good-but nothing special here. Their outdoor sitting is very good for kids. My daughter enjoys playing with the cats while running around the grass patched area. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Ugali Pork Fry and Kale
I loved the pork.. It's yummy. I wish they could add more outdoor set up, to accommodate the many customers over the weekends
