Always a pleasant fuel stop when in Fallon. Nevada. Price is usually one of the very cheapest. There are plenty of fuel pumps. Easy in and out access. Maverick loyalty cards save money at the pump and on in store purchases. The Bon Fire menu offers a good variety of quick grab and eat goodies. Huge drink selection. And the restrooms are clean. The staff is friendly and quick to ring you out.
Extremely rude lady with long dark hair. Couldn't bother helping me instead just sat there watched me and rude to me with the prices the service makes it not worth going here at all won't be back.
My wife stopped in today and went to ask for a slice or personal size pizza. The woman at the food counter was very rude towards her. My wife placed her order for some pizza and was straight up told no by the person at the counter, the reason being was that it was gonna be 15 minutes to make a pizza. Spoke to the manager and she was very apologetic and stated that there should be food ready at all times, and that it was unacceptable, by this time my wife had to return to her work so she just grabbed something else and went on her way.
This is one of the nicest Mavericks I happen to stop in. It’s clean, well-kept, sanitized, and staff is friendly. They make up their own hot food, including burritos, pizza, and etc. Big selection of snacks and grocery items. Best news is diesel it’s about $.20 cheaper than everybody else around.
I stopped by for gas, the prices were cheaper than in Reno, but when I attempted to print a receipt for my company car the machine⛽ was out of paper. No 🧻big deal, I figured I'll go in and speak with the cashier's see how their day is going.
I step into the store and the store itself was nice, clean, and it had plenty of stuff to look at and to buy. However there were two adult women behind the counter and a man who had just stepped away from behind the counter when I entered.
One of the women was standing in front of the counter with her arms spread out against the counter and the other was assisting another customer. The woman leaning against the flat surface doesn't even acknowledge me as we make eye contact, she instead greets another person behind me, and when she's done she talks to the other cashier and tells her how she's in pain as she hunches down as if she was on her menstrual cycle. She walks back to her corner and neglects to ask if I need help, another customer walks in and she asks him if she can help him. I finally move out of the line and go to the other cashier and I ask her if she can print a🧾 receipt for me. This other cashier also gives me this cold shoulder compared to other customers that I've observed her assisting.
I've never felt like my race would get in the way but at 86lbs, 5 ft tall, and Mexican American, I felt so uncomfortable🤦♀️ around those two individuals, and very unwelcome. Your experience might be different🤷♀️💁♀️ though!
Maverik always has good gas prices, clean bathrooms, awesome coffee machine, however they need significant help with keeping the coffee add ins properly stocked. Refrigerated creamer were all empty or out of order, syrups were empty, there were no other flavored options or individual coffee mate creamer servings. I returned a few hours later to grab a coffee on my way out of town, no change. I actually had to go over to Safeway to purchase my own creamer to use. :/ This was on Aug 27, 2022.
Fun store, a bit challenging to get in and out of the pump area when pulling a trailer. Store and pumps were busy, but plenty of store help, so did not slow us down that way. The murals in store were cute made it festive. The store was clean. And seemed well stocked with a variety of beverages, snackes, and lunch type items. From what we could tell, one of only two desiel stations, we were just traveling through.
