The food here was excellent. The 2 chicken dishes ordered were moist with great spices and not too hot. Poppadoms were fresh and crispy, and the 2 pilau rice dishes were enough for 4 people. Very good value at €54 for 4 people including drinks. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Delicious food, Indian atmosphere. Small and overcrowded place, but clean. Very fast service. It is better to reserve a table. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Awesome vegetarian curry dish - the candle heater was a nice touch! Wonderful cozy dining atmosphere and amazing location along the main walking boulevard in Cascais, Portugal. Restaurant aestetically pleasing and well decorated. Friendly and attentive service - definitely a place you would like to revisit if you could! Great Indian restaurant in Cascais. Food is fresh and authentic. While the aloo chat was too sweet, the main dishes were excellent. All dishes had a great balance of flavor and not at all oily or salty. Seating outdoors and indoors. Staff friendly and on point. Best meal we had in 3 weeks of traveling through Italy and now in Portugal. Wowwwww was it good , just passing by the place, the aroma drew us in. And the service is as excellent, the servers very attentive. They don’t leave and never come back. We even went back the next day and the next day, couldn’t get enough of the never ending menu. Hands down, best Indian food I've ever had in the world. So delicious, fresh and authentic! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Perfect food, perfect service, in a perfect setting. We visited as a group of four and loved this restaurant. The food is well made and has a slight twist on the usual recipes. We had a chicken tikka masala, chicken korma and chicken vindaloo, and all were delicious. The vindaloo was in a lighter sauce on a sizzling platter of onions and peppers with a light garnish of lemongrass. It wasn't too hot and was the star of the meal. The mushroom pilau, garlic naan and Peshawari naan were fresh and light and very tasty. With 4 X Super Bock beers and 3 X colas, the bill only came to €60. A must visit if you're in the Cascais area of Portugal. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Mushroon Rice Chicken Balti
My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Masala Indian Restaurant in Cascais, Portugal. Let me tell you – we were blown away by the food and service. One of my favorite dishes was the vegetable biryani, a flavorful blend of aromatic rice and mixed vegetables with many delicious spices. The biryani was cooked to perfection – the rice was fluffy, and the vegetables were just the right amount of tender. And let's talk about those spices – they were perfectly balanced and added so much depth to the dish's flavor. We also ordered the aloo gobi, which was just as tasty as the biryani. It featured tender chunks of potato and cauliflower in a rich and flavorful sauce. Yum! And to top it all off, we ordered a side of garlic naan bread, which was light, fluffy, and slightly crispy on the outside. It was the perfect complement to the biryani and aloo gobi – like the icing on the cake (or the nan bread on the curry, if you will). But the food wasn't the only highlight of the night – the service was top-notch too! Our server, Mandeep, was super friendly and attentive, continuously checking in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Plus, he was a pro at recommending dishes and answering any questions we had about the menu. In short, Masala Indian Restaurant is a 5-star experience in my book. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of flavors and spices, and the service was impeccable. The owner also owns the Tasting Room across the way, which is also very good, but that is another review to be posted in the future. The food is really good however the lassi is just terrible. The weird red sherbet or liqueur just ruined the taste. It’s also quite over priced. The waiter was really rude and very unfriendly even with our 2 year old toddler. But the restaurant seems to have their regulars and loads of tourists so I guess they can afford to be rude ?
