If you love Indian food, this is the place to go to in Battambang. We go to India almost every year (to a beach in Goa). I love Indian food and I find that the food here is just as good as the food cooked in India. In fact, the palack (spinach), which I have with cauliflower instead of paneer at special request, is the best I have had. I like vegetable Kadai, but it wasn't on the menu. No problem, they make whatever you ask for. The roti is cooked in a tandoori oven and is always delicious. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. We went here several times during our stay in Battambang. I highly recommend this place!

Being vegan I usually try and eat at Indian restaurants when I travel because they can normally accomodate my dietary needs. This was no exception here. Masod the owner was so friendly and helpful explaining to me how they prepare their food so I felt really sure that my food was 100% vegan. I have to say that I have eaten in so many Indian restaurants around the world including in India itself but this is definitely one of the best if not the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at. Such great, delicious food and a really friendly atmosphere. Highly recommendable! If I ever come back to Cambodia I will come to Battambang just to eat at this wonderful restaurant again.

Great option for whoever wants to vary from Khmer food or touristy/hipster overpriced spots. Food was really good, couldn't really make a choice so I went for the mixed plate which was veryyy copious. Dahl wasn't the best, but the rest was really nice. And obviously, a very good place as a vegetarian.
Beer is very cheap.
Service was perfect, fast, kind.

Once you've eaten at Jaan Bai or Smokin' Pot for great Khmer food, you may want a change. Masala is perfect for that change. Great tandoori food and a wide range of dishes make it hard to choose from the extensive menu. Don't worry whatever you choose is likely to be fantastic. I've eaten at Indian restaurants across the UK, the Indian subcontinent and the rest of Asia and I can confidently say that this is one of the best I've tasted. Add to this the very reasonable prices, great service, friendly staff and lovely old Battambang building and you've got a don't miss restaurant. So don't miss it.

I love this restaurant. The owner is friendly and the food is reasonably priced, delicious and beautifully presented. The service is excellent and the serves much larger than most places in Phnom Penh. It’s the only place in Battambang we have eaten twice on every trip here and this is our fifth. We’ll be back for sure
Not for me. People rave about this place because typically European food is bland.
Ordered chicken tikka - tools one bite into a piece of fat - disgusting cheap meat!!!
Rest of my thali was underwhelming.
Wasn’t expecting this sort of quality Indian food in Battambang!
I was only in town for 4 nights but I ate here 2 times!
Next time I’m back in town this will be feed number 1 for certain!
Keep up the good work Bong 🙏🙏🙏
