Maru Lyagi, located in Hendersonville, TN, offers a delightful sushi dining experience. Despite visiting for a late lunch, just before the 2:30 pm closing time, the restaurant maintained its quality and service. We indulged in two appetizers, both of which were excellent, setting the tone for the meal. For the main course, we savored three specialty rolls, each bursting with flavor and freshness. In my experience, Maru Lyagi stands out as one of the premier sushi spots in the area. While the service was efficient, it's worth noting that we were the only patrons present, likely due to the impending closure. Nevertheless, our food arrived promptly, allowing us to enjoy every bite in comfort. The comfortable seating, cleanliness, and appealing ambiance added to the overall dining pleasure. Maru Lyagi's location further contributes to its allure, making it a convenient and inviting choice for sushi enthusiasts. In summary, Maru Lyagi impresses with its delectable cuisine, satisfactory service, and inviting atmosphere. Whether for a casual lunch or a dinner outing, I highly recommend Maru Lyagi for an exceptional sushi experience in Hendersonville, TN. My visit to this sushi restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a soothing, elegant ambiance. The real magic, however, happened on my plate. The sushi here is a masterpiece, a fusion of flavors and textures that tantalized my taste buds. The fish was impeccably fresh, and the attention to detail in every roll was remarkable. What truly sets this place apart is the dedication of the sushi chefs. Their craft is on full display as they skillfully prepare each dish. The service was impeccable, Hazel who is not only attentive but also well-versed in sushi traditions, making every course a learning experience. The restaurant's commitment to quality is evident in the selection of ingredients, and it truly pays off in every bite. The menu offers a wide range of options, from classic to innovative rolls, ensuring there's something for everyone. In short, this sushi restaurant is a culinary gem. If you're seeking a memorable dining experience that transcends mere food, it's the place to be. I can't recommend it highly enough; it's a true testament to the art of sushi. Excellent sushi. Best place in the Gallatin/Hendersonville area. Reasonably priced for higher end sushi. Fresh tasting. This was the first time in a while I didn’t have to use soy sauce to improve flavor. Rolls were on point! Highly recommend. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

What a great place for sushi and ramen! My son wanted ramen for his birthday and the staff accommodated our large party masterfully. The guys is snagging and presented very well. The ramen bowls are enormous and tasty! The teriyaki salmon with white or fried rice is super good. My favorite was the fresh veggies that came with. The octopus sushi, shrimp or chicken fried rice, runs and California rolls are so good! We will definitely be back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

One of my favorite sushi places in Tennessee. The service is always super amazing and sweet. They really go out of their way to make our meals feel special. The staff was very attentive and quick with everything. The food is always A+. At other sushi places the fish sometimes has no flavor, but at Maru the fish is always super flavorful and fresh. Also the presentation is always beautiful so it's good for any foodies. The pink lady, tuna lovers special, and dragon rolls are my personal favorite. Definitely come here for a good time!

I want to start this with wow. Tennessee has gotten significantly nicer. We have sushi in small towns like Hendersonville man. I'm here for the progress. It is nice especially since I was a child. However, this is by far one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to in a while. It's hard to find sushi in Tennessee. I've traveled a lot and had great food. Trust me, Hendersonville this is luxury. However the experience was really worth the time and effort. The tastes don't stop once your experience starts. It did take about 10 minutes to be sat and orders taken, but that was the only slight issue. Our waiter was very wonderful and helpful. She answered all of my questions and kept me and my wife up to par. She refilled my hot tea several times and made sure our food tasted good. I had the Gyoza, Seaweed Salad & Golden Bridge. Given the price, I could comfortably leave a big tip, be full & fulfilled and still go for seconds. Those 3 items held me over for hours after I left. This was not my first time and it definitely will not be my last visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great sushi and alot of choices. Friendly servers and very observant. I love having a good sushi restaurant in my home town. Check it out, you will not be disappointed. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
What an incredible experience. The restaurant has a great vibe, very clean, and organized. The ginger salad dressing was the best I’ve ever tasted, the miso was garlicky and well seasoned, and the sushi was phenomenal. Highly recommend the fried ice cream and sweet tea.
