EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS! I placed an order only a few days before an event and gave them a few inspiration pictures. I told them I wouldn't mind if they could only do something simple because I was happy they were taking a last minute order. They knocked it out of the park with these cookies! I fully expected to be charged twice as much as I was. Love this locally owned business for all my cake, cookie, and donuts! I drove from Carbondale for these awesome donuts and coffee. The guy working the counter was excellent, with great individualized customer service! We tried the bacon donut long john, and it was terrific. The donuts were fresh, not greasy. My favorite place to get a good donut is this area! Worth the drive at 6:30 am. Well this was my first time there and, I got the cream horns and when I say top of the line I mean it. Mark's Bakery is the best bakery anywhere. I live in DuQuoin and work in Benton. I get requests all the time to pick up pastries and take to work. My family in Bloomington, Illinois, also loves Mark's. Never disappointed. Always satisfied. Service Take out Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
