# Review of Mariscos Mi Tierra in Veradale, WA
Rating: ⭐ (1/5)
I recently dined at Mariscos Mi Tierra, eager to experience their take on Mexican cuisine. Unfortunately, the experience fell drastically short of expectations.
To start, I ordered the chicken chimichanga, paired with rice and beans, and added a chicken enchilada to my meal. I was immediately taken aback by the peculiar taste of the beans, which had an unsettling hint of perfume—a flavor that certainly doesn't belong in any dish. The rice didn't do any favors to rescue the meal; it was dry and lacked any semblance of the rich, aromatic flavors one typically associates with Mexican rice.
As for the chicken within the chimichanga and the enchilada, it was unlike any chicken I've had before—and not in a good way. The taste was off-putting, making me question the quality of the ingredients used.
The only saving grace of the entire meal was the Shirley Temple I ordered to drink. It was refreshing and reminiscent of the classic beverage I have enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, this lone highlight does little to overshadow the disappointing meal. For that, I can award one star.
Another aspect of my visit that warrants attention was the billing. The total for two lunches came to an astonishing $70. Not only was this price steep for the quality of food served, but the receipt failed to provide an itemized breakdown of the charges. It simply listed "1 item" at $66 plus tax, which didn't allow for any transparency or understanding of the costs.
In summary, my experience at Mariscos Mi Tierra was underwhelming. Given the quality of food and the perplexing billing, I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are many establishments that celebrate Mexican cuisine with delicious dishes and fair prices—sadly, this is not one of them.

Super helpful on answering menu questions and the live performer checked in with us to make sure the volume was ok since we were sitting close. When I ordered ceviche they verified that I was familiar with the cooking method so I wouldn't be surprised. My friends from Honduras loved it and were excited to see familiar dishes

Just had their shrimp, asada tacos and a tostada for lunch. The taste is authentic and very good. Staff was friendly.
Their salsas are 🔥🔥🔥 😅.
I didn't give them 5 star because I ordered barbacoa taco but they gave me an asada taco. They also only do single tortilla on the tacos instead of double tortilla, so they fall apart on to-go orders.
I'll definitely be back. I recommend it.
Looking forward to trying their Diabla Shrimp.

This newish Mexican restaurant has filled the old King's Chinese with good food and atmosphere. This is pretty much a Mexican seafood restaurant with pages of wonderful sounding dishes. But I was looking for a taste of enchilada and such, and it's offered as well. I ordered the beef enchilada and chile relleno which came with rice and beans. I think this is one of the best beef enchiladas I've ever had, with a deep beefy flavor and great sauce. The relleno was very good, too. A nice fresh chile, full of cheese. The beans were quite nice, but the rice fell a little short on flavor when put up against the delicious enchilada. All in all very good, and I'll be back!

The menu is 99% seafood which wasn't so clear from the signs. They have some non seafood dishes. I ordered taco salad it had no flavor. No heat at all to their salsa or red sauce which was odd. The shrimp tacos the hubby had were good and the chipotle mayo on them had heat. If you like little to no spicy this is your place. 🙃

This is truly a unique and delicious Mexican dining experience that isn’t offered anywhere else in the Spokane area🙌🏻 I had the seafood tower with tostadas. It had shrimp, octopus, fish with avocado and cucumber😍 It was phenomenal! The mango margarita with chamoy was also delicious! Our sever Natali was fabulous and made wonderful recommendations🤗 10/10 will eat here again!

A nice little place in the Valley. The food was good. We ordered a Molcajete Marinero and split it between the two of us. We thought it was served warm but it's cold. It was good, although we wished it had more of the cocktail sauce it came with. We also ordered the camarón empanadas and they were delicious. The vibe of the place could be better. However, customer service was great! Totally recommend it!
