Delicious. They had ທອດແມ້ which is deep fried crispy bamboo caterpillar and salad with freshwater crab. Their menu is translated into English.

This restaurant is in Phonsavan not Luang Prabang. Very good local Lao food. We had a grilled fish and some sort of green beans with squid that were both delicious. A little away from the main part of town but worth the trip. Only issue is that there is no English menu or at least no one could find it the evening we were there so you will have to use a translator or find someone to help but it's worth it.

This hidden gem was a very memorable visit. Off the beaten track over the bamboo bridge in Luang Prabang. You won’t be disappointed with the exceptional service from the lovely woman running the cafe. A great selection of teas at a reasonable price. There were 3 gorgeous dogs on the property, 1 of which was a cute yet mischievous pup. I wish my husband and I could nip back to this little cafe as and when. If you’re in the area, you must visit. The bathroom is super clean and westernised. The cafe itself is set in a fabric shop. Very cute and quaint.

I was looking for a different bar but the bar I was looking for was closed so I stopped by here for a drink. They were so nice here. Ordered a couple large bottles of beer, staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable.
