We stopped here with Gideon on a tour and the food was delicious! The people were awesome and we even tried the local liquor which about set our mouths on fire. The fish was AMAZING, I would recommend it for a local place to try for lunch, as it very casual and cute.

Stopped here for lunch as part of a tour. The food was pretty good, not amazing but good. It's a buffet style lunch. The chicken was very tender. The fish was well seasoned. Loved the beans and rice. Great food after visiting multiple spots and starving tummies!

The staff was nice and the food was quick. Food was okay. Add some hot sauce and it makes it better.
Prices were high for what you get. I could have had a nice steak dinner instead for the same price.
Expect nature to join you and prepare yourself for the smell of moth balls (I'm assuming it's an attempt to keep bugs away).
FYI, not everyday is buffet.

Really not sure how to judge all these positive reviews.
I went there as part of your arranged by the hotel.
Although I can’t say the food was bad, it was all canteen prepared, minimal in quantity and certainly lacking any kind of flavour or utter substance.
The place had no high chairs for young and very minimal drink options.
Fairly unforgettable.

Great little buffet-style spot for lunch. Friendly service, delicious food. They give you a big plate of food plus delicious juice for $20.

We were looking for a meal outside of our hotel, but with Covid restrictions this ended up providing a bit difficult. We stumbled on Marie's while parking at the Botanical Garden and were starving so walked over.
A woman walked out and apologetically explained that they can't serve anyone due to Covid, they only did takeaway good but didn't have anything left. Another woman excitedly stepped outside and said they still had some chicken and fish and could make us some rice. We sat outside in the nice grounds for a few minutes and they came out with our to go plates, along with a tamarind and passion fruit drink. After spending $20-40 a person on meals here, the $10 box was fantastic and so filling we ate in two sittings. The juices were so good too! Will definitely come back here again!

Great local food. Chicken was insane! We stopped by as a part of a boat trip. Marie herself said hello to us and told us about the food. Arrived at 11:40ish and were first people there. Very fresh. Would recommend!

Excellent Food, and the people are super friendly. Truly family run, the mom made sure the food was served and the dad was in the back preparing the food.

Fantastic food was so glad we found this gem. We went for lunch but they serve breakfast and dinner as well. Wish we had known on days we were looking for breakfast!!!
