I decided to eat at this restaurant based on an impulse decision. My family and I have eaten at Marie Callender's a couple times at different locations several years ago and thought is was just ok, so I was reluctant on trying it again anytime soon; however, on 6 Oct 2023, my wife and I gave it another try. We ended up eating here a little late in the night so I was concerned that the experience was going to be less than adequate, but, we were amazed how everything was. We ended up ordering the Home-Style Beef Stroganoff, Braised and Slow-Roasted Pot Roast, Salad Bar, French Apple Pie, and Razzleberry Pie. The salad bar is not something I would boast about, but it contained majority of the items I enjoy. There were two different soups available on the salad bar (Vegetable and Potato Cheese), and they were decent. Our main course was great; both entrées were served hot and tasted like "home cookin'." Out of the two entrées, I'd say the Pot Roast was the better dish out of the two we ordered, but both were good. The pies were magnificent, although, I wish the restaurant didn't look out for my health and served a little more of the French Apple Pie (it seemed as though they didn't give me a full slice). The service was outstanding; our server, Andres, was very friendly, professional, and did such an excellent job overall...which made our experience stellar. I was extremely shocked on how well-maintained (clean) the restaurant was, to include its bathrooms, especially considering that the building is on the older side. Then again, I was there late evening when there weren't a lot of customers to dirty things up. The prices here are reasonable and I really appreciate how this franchise supports the men and women of the military and its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I enjoyed the experience and recommend this restaurant to everyone. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Their lunch special is a pretty good deal. You get to choose two or three items for a reasonable price. I had the meatloaf sandwich on sourdough. It's really quite tasty and a piece of chocolate satin pie. I've tried most of the lemon/lime pies before and was not terribly impressed. The chocolate satin pie, however, was very good. It had a deep chocolate flavor. The pie crusts are usually first rate. We also had the Thai shrimp and the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich. Both were very tasty as well. My wife really likes the cherry and pumpkin pies. It may not be 5-star food but it is very tasty and the portions are decent. It's definitely worth a try.
good restaurant it was nice the food was great I love the service they ask if we need anything and if we want a refill on our drinks I would recommend going for yourself Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Cream Pie
