About
After enjoying SEA LIFE Minnesota, it may be a good idea to visit this bar. Margaritaville guarantees you perfectly cooked coconut shrimps, double cheeseburgers and fried fish. Spend a nice time here and share tasty key lime pie, Brezeln and potato waffles with your friends. This place serves good strawberry margarita, tequila or lager. A lot of visitors order delicious coffee or great ice tea. The homely atmosphere of this spot allows guests to relax after a hard working day. The staff is said to be friendly here. Enjoyable service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this bar. From the guests' point of view, prices are fair. A lot of reviewers think that the decor is homey. But Margaritaville has been rated below average by Google.

Not worth the wait for the food quality. Couldn’t eat the chicken on the salad - dry like cardboard. One in our party had the seafood pasta found it way too salty. The scallops in the pasta were mushy and bland. Manager took the chicken salad off the bill, but honestly the guest experience isn’t great - had to ask for a cutlery twice. A real disappointment given we had to wait a long time to get in. We can’t come here again. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Went here for a family meal on a Tuesday afternoon. So the toddler ate for free, he got macaroni and cheese, it looked to be Kraft. I ordered the fish tacos, the hubby ordered ribs and chicken. The fish tacos were horrible. The first thing I noticed was a hair in a taco. The lettuce was brown and wilted, the cilantro was wilted and brown. There was maybe one piece of mango for the mayo salsa on each taco. The fish itself was tough. The chicken was not too bad, the ribs were dry. The staff was nice, the food, absolutely horrible. But I always wanted to try it, and I’ll never go back. I was so sad. Maybe it was a bad day? We spent 112.00 between two adults. Three alcoholic drinks and two entrees, no appetizers. Do not recommend this place!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

This is a really nice place! Great atmosphere, music and service! I didn’t try a margarita this time, but I like that there is a certain one you can pay a little extra to keep the cup! I will try that next time! They have a nice gift shop also! Service Dine in Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Similar to somewhere like an Applebees but the food was more expensive. Food unappealing and low value. All of our drinks were good. Atmosphere was fun, but I don’t see myself coming back here soon. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Best restaurant at MOA and we've tried most at one time or another. If you have the opportunity to request Mario, do so. He was the best waiter on our entire trip. I was with three of my granddaughters and they noticed how exceptional Mario is. Very attentive, offered recommendations when asked, and personality A+. Julie was also quite pleasant to speak with at the restaurant. Food was wonderful, drinks so yummy and atmosphere....well, it's Margaritaville!

Our daughter has Celiac Disease and they have a good amount of options for her. The hostess (didn't catch her name sadly but visited Aug 13 2023) did a great job at breaking down the menu, so we felt comfortable going forward and staying for lunch. When we got to the table, we also confirmed with our waiter on all of the prior details we were given. Mario also reassured us on the menu. She ordered a burger with a gluten-free bun with fries. They have their own dedicated gluten-free fryer, so there were no issues with cross contamination. She really enjoyed her food, which made this Mom really happy 🤍. She said, "Give them 5 stars, and mention Mario is amazing." Dining can be really stressful for us and especially for her while traveling, so we really appreciate the care and attention to detail with her meal today. My husband and I weren't overly hungry, so we shared the volcano nachos (also GF). They were wonderful, and I feel like we didn't even make a dent in them! So much food! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It’s like a Caribbean version of O’Charley’s. The food is mediocre but the atmosphere is decent. This was our first, and probably last, time coming to a Margaritaville. It felt pretty American to do whilst at Mall of America. The service was wonderful. The restaurant was clean. The food was nothing to write home about and was rather expensive. The appetizer trio tasted the best, but ultimately gave us both GI upset, so I can’t even recommend that. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Went to celebrate the life of my mother in law and her mother, after their burial service at Fort Snelling. My MIL was a parot head and we thought it would be a great place to celebrate her. The food was bland, burgers were stiff/tough even cooked medium well. Fried pickles were limp/ not crisp. Had to walk over to the bar to get the listed happy hour deals not a big deal just strange to not offer at a table near the bar. Our waitress was very sweet so gave it a little better than what I would have. Pretty disappointing. After waiting 45 minutes beyond what they said, the waiting time would be, we were seated and waited. Another 40 minutes before we got our drinks. The food was reasonable, but unfortunately, my burger bun was burnt and the bacon seem to be almost raw on my garlic, bacon burger. The others in my party enjoyed their food very however. They were way under staffed for what they had. Overall, a very disappointing experience, especially considering the money. I really would not recommend going here. There are plenty of better options in the mall of America. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
I was a bit worries about the wait initially. When we decided to eat, it was 7 p.m. and the peek of the establishments rush. The person making reservations and ensuring everyone had seats told us it was 45 minutes to an hour before our party of six could be seated. We decided to chance it and wait despite the mall closing in about 90 minutes and us really ready to eat and go back to our hotel. In about 20 minutes the person up front called is to let us know there was a table for us. When we walked it, the place was still extremely busy but we never felt like an inconvenience for the employees. Our server, Kyle did an amazing job. He took our drink orders, explained what the different drink were, and promptly brought them out to us. He offered appetizers but we declined. He took our order and was careful to repeat the order to ensure it was correct. The food was brought to us well prepared and it looked amazing. I could not have asked for a more delicious looking meal. The food was absolutely delicious as well. My only regret was I had no room for the key lime pie. I should have ordered it because it looked great on the menu. This was one of the better experiences I had here at the Mall of America. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was inviting. I do not get out this direction very often. However, next time I am here to visit the Mall of America this will be my stop for dinner. Stay blessed. It 5 pm somewhere. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
