Honestly pizza is good but we will never be back here. The wait times are ridiculously off from what we are told when ordering. This has happened too many times to count and done giving grace. The last staw was this past Friday- website said 20 minute wait. I knew better to call knowing their track record. We were told it was actually a 45 minute wait. Went to go pick it up and there were 25 orders ahead of us and told it would be at least another 25 minutes wait. So we just cancelled the order. Don't think anything is being done either about this given all the previous reviews reflecting the same experience. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Service: 1
Too bad one star is the lowest rating. Always good food but it can't be stressed enough the absolute disaster the online ordering system is and the lack of order time expectations are. I expect it to be busy on Friday night we all do just give us a decent idea of when to pick it up like you know... you use too before the new app destroyed everything. It's a real shame our family really enjoys the food but I'll never be held hostage for 2 hours waiting in the parking lot for food again. Fix the problem! I ordered my pizza online and according to my email it stated my promise time for pickup would be 5:09. I was driving home with my husband from a long trip from Tennessee and we have been driving all day. Stopped to pick pizza up on the way home and ordered online ahead of time so it would be a quick and easy pickup for us. We waited outside since they were supposed to bring it out, nobody came out. My husband went in to ask an update and was greeted with a very rude woman who wouldn’t tell him how much longer it would be, and that they would bring it out within another 20 min. Mind you this was 5:15 he went in to ask. We then waited another 15 min and I went in to get an update. She was also extremely rude to me. No apologies for how long this is taking, nothing. She said I told him we would bring it out when it was ready. So I stood there and waited for it myself and she ended up bringing it out and pretty much pushing the pizza into my hands and walked away. Is this how Marcos pizza treats their customers? I am extremely upset after driving a long exhausting day and would like to know this will be addressed to the employees at the Jenison location. Ordered pizza online on 12/8/23. Online quote 90 minutes for my pizza delivery. After an hour and a half and no pizza at my house, I called the store. They said they were “backed up” and it was about to go in the oven. After my call, I suddenly started receiving the email order updates I requested. My pizza was finally delivered after well over 2 hours from my initial ordering time. I doubt they started making my pizza until after I called. If they’re not going to keep up on online orders, they shouldn’t offer online ordering. I won’t get pizza from here again, which is disappointing because I like their pizza. But their service is awful and the pizza isn’t *that* special to wait over two hours for it. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

On Oct 6th we placed an online order. After waiting more than the time promised. I called and was informed that the computer had crashed and my online order hadn't been started. I got the confirmation email saying that it was received. I cancelled the order and got something else. We decided to try it again tonight. Time promised was 7:20. At 7:25 pm I called and oh, it's going to be another 15 minutes. I ordered three subs. Why does it take so long when we live three miles away? Most likely this will be the last time we order from this restaurant. A shame because we've been repeating customers for many years. At 7:50pm I called back to inquire further and was informed by the manager that my order wasn't even in the oven. It was still eight minutes from going in the oven.I was flat out lied to. I asked about maybe food credit. She said that their computer system is new and she couldn't do anything. I told her to cancel again..... I received a call back asking if they should make the order or not. No.... Never again. I did cuss because I was angry. McDonald's got our business and we'll not order or recommend this to anyone. This is the worst of all the Marco's pizza. They cannot keep up with the night and weekend volume. I think they should take themselves off of things like Doordash because they can't even get their in-store customers taken care of in a modest amount of time. If you like good quality pizza with a 2 hour wait time, come to Marcos! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I hate leaving negative reviews but TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY MATTER. We love their pizza, but if I have to miss the evening with my family to wait 45 minutes over the wait time, and then give them the benefit of the doubt and ask at checkout if we get a discount or future free pizza and am STILL told no - then I can’t keep coming. So this was my first time ordering pizza from this Marcos Pizza because I was in the area. But the Marcos standard is high and this location didn't let me down at all. My order was completed as requested and the staff was friendly and answered my questions about new menu items. Pizza is good, don’t try to get pizza on a Friday or Saturday after 4. If you do, at least triple the “estimated time” it will be ready and then add another hour and be prepared to wait outside and told “just a couple more minutes”. First, I’d like to start off by saying I love the pizza from Marcos! The past two times that I’ve gone I have quite literally waited 30+ minutes after the quoted from the verification email. That is inexcusable. The first time it was 30 minutes, tonight It was almost 45 minutes after the “promised time”. We probably won’t be back for a while. I’m very disappointed. Food: 5
