This restaurant is a watering hole for white people that don’t know what Mexican food tastes like. Upon walking in you are greeted with the overwhelming odor of cumin, you’d actually believe it’s an Indian restaurant. The house salsa tastes like liquid cumin and it’s the only salsa they have. It’s no surprise this place has lasted 50 years in business considering it makes most of its money off of being a tourist trap and whole selling mediocre Mexican food to undereducated rich white people. Taqueria Santa Cruz is better than this dump.

As new neighbors to Santa Cruz, we received a gift card and took advantage of it. The atmosphere was wonderful. The staff was great. The service was outstanding, and to top went it off, the food was excellent!!! We had chips and guacamole, my wife had the flautas, and I had a chili relleno with a chicken enchilada, and we finished with a flan... it was great!!! WE'LL BE BACK!!!

Chicken Enchiladas Y Chile Relleno
This place was packed, the tables are tight to one another, but all for good reason! My son says the enchilada is in the top 10 things he's ever eaten! Service was quick, friendly and accurate. Definately worth a stop!

Excellent service and atmosphere! Food can use just a little bit more flavor for my taste buds. Other than that, the drinks are also amazing! Great place....parking can be a little bit difficult to find.

Manuel's was a great as we remember it. Super busy, even on a Sunday evening. Great staff, attentive service, ice cold beer and delicious house margaritas. Food arrived pronto and HOT! Right amount of house spices and fresh ingredients served in large portions. Where others are cutting back, Manuel's isn't. Will be BACK!
