Not only delicious food (I had green curry with rice, vegetables and shrimps topped with diced almonds) but also a waitress that sang her songs out loud while she was serving the customers. It is unthinkable that one cannot smile when being served by her. My husband had a whole fried fish, topped with vegetables and a coconutsauce and French fries. And the second time we had dinner at Mami's I ordered the same curry and my husband the chicken taco's. It was all more than delicious (that's why we went two times in a row!) This place has such a good vibe. It is tiny and cozy. And I can recommend it to anybody that wants a good meal for a fair price in a cozy environment. I had lunch and dinner several times at Mami's and tried different dishes. The food is really good as well as the drinks. My favorite were the fish and the shrimp. The salads are good too. The staff is friendly and respectful. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person PAB 20–25 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Fish Tacos
It’s a beautiful place to eat and enjoy the culture of this island. Mami is an incredible chef and the girls there are amazing. The amazing voice and positive vibes of Yuri are making this place even more special! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We walked to wizard beach and wanted to get a quick bite on our way. For the first time in Bocas del Toro I had the feeling that I get really authentic food. The fish ceviche was awesome and the restaurant staff was very friendly. I absolutely recommend it. This was our favorite restaurant on Bastimentos! Fresh, home-cooked food made with love. Loved the well-spiced Caribbean flavors. We had the shrimp with the Caribbean sauce, beet salad, vegetable tempura, Mami’s fish and patacones. They also serve delicious, stiff cocktails. We especially liked the margaritas and mojitos. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere and friendly service.

The place is right on the trail to wizard beach (you can't swim there, it has huge surfs, so it's good for surfing ), and we stopped to eat lunch. We ordered the whole fish and beef(Caribbean meat), and each cost 15 dollars. The fish is tiny, beef tough. The same dishes in the town are half the price. Enjoyed their ceviche, the fresh caught jack fish and Yuri's beautiful voice, smile and service. We would definitely eat here again! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We were the only one's there, trying out this new restaurant along the path to Wizard Beach. Husband and I shared a plate of the smoked chicken special and it was delicious at the bargain price of $6. Just follow the sign to get there. It will be on the left. The food is amazing and it is worth a trip to Bastimentos just to eat here. They have the best ceviche I've ever tasted and I also loved the Basti Drink cocktail! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fish of the Day
