Unreal breakfast - highly recommend the Shakshuka! Really friendly and helpful staff, both very kind and he speaks perfect English.
Iced coffees are very tasty too! The music also creates a nice vibe.

Food here is absolutely amazing, one of the best shakshukas I’ve ever had 😍 green curry, German baguette and tuna baguette all absolutely beautiful too. We came here 3 times for lunch and the food was fab every time!
The owner is also one of the nicest people I’ve met, so welcoming and helpful with tips for the area too :) would highly recommend

An amazing spot in Nong Khiaw! Tia is so friendly, welcoming and willing to cater to dietary restrictions, making me vegan-friendly shakshuka, muesli and cappuccinos. All were delicious! Great vibes as well to hang out and relax. Highly recommend a stop in.
***Update: I HAD to stop in for another meal before departing town. Immediately upon arriving I felt a sense of comfort and calmness as the cafe is truly an escape from the typical chaotic, busy morning of the town. The light, morning jazz music and relaxing atmosphere puts you in your own little world. Tia even greeted me by name... It had been 3 days since I was last in! Another shakshuka was a must and then Tia surprised me, offering to make me vegan pancakes with coconut milk. They were so good. Mama Tia's is an absolute must-stop if you're in Nong Khiaw!!!

This place is definitely the cleanest and nicest restaurant in Nong Khiaw. We loved how clean it was, they had fans to keep the flies away, nice artwork, and nice fancy music to complete the atmosphere. We both got the shakshuka. One with scrambled eggs and one with poached eggs. It was delicious!

Best customer service and food service I've had since arriving in Laos.
Sat down and was greeted immediately by owner/staff, given a menu, he was friendly with a smile, something I haven't had in Laos!!
Came quickly to get my order and his English was very good as I asked for an extra food item. Food came quick and was delicious best good I'd had, western food but I missed home comforts. Very tasty and fresh. Good atmosphere. I asked for bill and lady came to collect.
Felt welcomed in there straight away and lovely friendly staff. Thank you!!!!

This was one of our favourite places to eat in Nong Khiaw! The service is top-notch and everything we’ve tried from the menu tasted good, our favourites were probably the shakshuka (which is done properly here) and the curries.
Even though the prices are slightly higher, the quality is there and you know that you won’t need to order an extra portion of steamed rice along with your curry since the menu is so well-written (which wasn’t often the case in other restaurants). The restaurant is clean and stylishly decorated.

Fantastic place for a wholesome meal in Nong Khiaw. The owner is super nice and friendly and the ambience was peaceful with light jazz playing on a Sunday afternoon. I had a tasty fruit shake and spicy green curry that was packed with fresh veggies and tofu. I will be returning for breakfast in the morning :)

Green Curry
Delightful. Food is really good and owners super friendly and nice. Good coffee too and the cup is big which is nice. Different styles of food. European and Lao. We had shasukka, green curry, German baguette and bacon potato mix. All really freshly cooked. This place made us very happy.

Contemporary, high-end lunch and breakfast place. We came here twice during our stay in Nong Khiaw - and if they served dinner here we probably would have been here a few more times.
The green curry is delicious, the sausage baguette was perfect (served with a generous helping of fried onions and mustard) and the rosella tea is a must-try.
Sure, the prices are above average for the area, but you do get what you pay for.

Excellent experience here! The service was great (the guy who served me was so sweet, and spoke excellent English in the few exchanges we had). The decor is nice and the place is clean (the bathroom had toilet paper and hand soap-which may seem like a low bar, but for SEA this is great!). I had the Thai red tea, which was very tasty and the shakshouka (but with scrambled eggs) and it was delicious!! It was filling and so tasty. Can absolutely recommend this spot!
