Excellent little place, best pilau I tried in Watamu. Freshly made chapati , many other sides. You do need to let yourself be guided by what's available on the day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were looking for some local cuisine and just found the best we could wish for! The prices were very affordable. They were super friendly and everything was freshly cooked. I’ve already worked in Kenya so I knew the dishes, but if you’re new just ask them for a good combination. It’s also nice for vegetarians (try the sukuma wiki, kachumbari and red beans). We ate here every day and can warmly recommend it:) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person KES 1–500

Food most affordable at watamu centre. Well served, delicious servings. Opened 6am -11pm daily. Beers at 250@ Service Dine in Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Local place with typical swahili food and DELICIOUS grilled chicken. Really, the marinate is to lick your fingers for. And the fried potatoes (which are different from the fries) are super tasty. You can fill your stomach with a bowl of red beans, a portion of white cabbage and a chapati for kes100. If you like to go where the locals go, this is the place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
