Back when this place was AJs they had hands down best breakfast burrito. Perfectly crunchy soft browned home fries with onion, bell pepper, mushroom, lots of meat, moist egg. Da bomb! Now it’s just parboiled potatoes, not even soft, no brown just boiled. Gone are the other veggies. So ho-hum scrambled eggs and some meat and cheese. And the salsa has gone from the fresh ingredients spicy to that hot sauce stuff, just throw some dried peppers and water in a blender. Had the amazing Torta Cubana with chips and salsa!! The torta had steak, chorizo,ham, sausage,egg avocado, mozzarella cheese, grilled onions, jalapenos, and a wonderful house sauce. Very filling and delicious combination of ingredients. The chips were thin and crispy, and the authentic salsa was so fabulous that we had to have more. Felt very well attended too. Out of the myriad of Mexican Restaurants to choose from, you're missing out if you don't give Malu's a try. So good, I always end up eating too much. Indoor seating is limited, so consider going on a sunny day for the patio, or taking it to go.
